I don't know if I want to because when I tire shined my summers it just kept building up and made my tires brown lol
I had to use a scrub to remove all the gel buildup.
Black Magic Tire Gel.
I love the look from the gel, though.
Hope your ASM turns out great!
Haha I just washed it the day before the incident too!
The first pic of my dirty car was from the drive yesterday.

Small update:
Trunk LED I bought off of fellow member Aretardedorange arrived.
It's hard to say exactly how bright these are lol
What do you expect for a PNS camera lol
They are bright and I'm happy with them =)
No more yellow light!
You can see some light shine onto my garage door with my trunk open:

Tommorow, I have a local fellow member "pnoyrice" come up to my place to install his Accord fogs.
Maybe expect a small "winter" shoot tommorow?

So today pnoyrice drove up to my place to install his Accord fogs.

We started at I think 2:30 or 3 PM. We finished at like 11 PM.
There were many delays such as finding screws to mount the fogs and it's my first time wiring accord fogs to be independant and also with HIDs.
The MOST delay was caused by weather. It was 11 Degrees Farenheit out.
Toes and fingers were frozen.
No breaks really inbetween either so yeah, Accord fogs do take a lot of time.
We then went out at midnight for a little shoot.

The install came out perfect once again!

Thanks buddy =)
Same can be said to your car! Those LED fogs looks sick!
Haha thanks swoosh!
Thanks rockstar! For the extra help over PM too!
They take so damn long but I SWEAR next time it'll go quicker lol
So many delays. Should have had everything ready when he got here.
Looking for mounting screws took up like an hour LOL
Cutting the fogs went by pretty quick like a couple hours for the first side and an hour for the last side.
I gotta admit.. this type of stuff takes time. No point in rushing!
I'm so jealous of his HID fogs...
Looks way better than my Nokya Yellows.
Yup! haha thought it would be a cool shot so I just took it too lol

Nice meeting up with ya!
Looking forward to your new mods soon!
Yeah it sucks shooting at night haha!
Especially with a point and shoot camera!
The only time pictures turn out nice when there's LOTS of lights (for eaxmple under the gas station).
Yeah he's got some sweet plans coming along for his TL :nina:
Thanks man!
Let me know if you're interested in doing the fogs!
I help as much as I could but they did all the cutting.
I was more of a mentor haha
It proves that doing Accord fogs are easier than many think! And pnoyrice and his buddy have never used the dremel before (at least recently).

Haha good deal!
It was pretty much like survivor in my garage yesterday.
Damn portable heater didn't even work good!
Thanks!
Can't stand the foglights that are not flush with the bumper and point way outwards lol
They did a damn good job cutting

Thanks Steven!
For the comment and the thread title change!
Haha I might consider them since they light up the whole ground infront LOL
Anyone know where I can get 3000k HIDs that look yellow when looking into the fogs AND shine yellow?
The ones we installed looked white when you look into the fogs but the light output was yellow.
I think it's cool like that, but if there are HIDs that actually look yellow when you're looking at the fogs, that would be the way to go.

i found the DDM tuning HID's to hold color for a little bit longer....

I'd go with nokya yellow bulbs if you want the look of yellow from all angles... plus, then you can wire the fogs to be on with your parking lights and you can have them blink with you locking/unlocking your car.
No HID kits will look yellow when you look directly at them IMO...they all light up yellow on the ground as you see the outer rim of the reflection but the light itself doesn't look JDM yellow (if that's even a color).

I bet they look sweet!
I prefer the clear lens though lol
It had to be a cold day that day too. The other days around that Sunday were not as cold.
Still considering lol

Saves me time from re-wiring the trigger source lol.
I suppose the thing I have to do is aim the fogs down lower.
Right now the fogs point higher than my low beams by a lot.
Probably aiming the fogs lower will give me a better light output on the ground instead of the sky lol
I think I'll have to retrim the foglight bezels though since my fogs are already set the lowest they can go I think.
Fun.
Between the brush and this there is no way in.. that this would scratch it anymore than that brush lol. I have both so ya and plus you don't really need to drag it across the car just slightly over to get the snow off and if you do happen to touch the car with it..its much softer than those regular ones..trust me i know lol i have both

Okay so my cold cathodes came in today!
The seller all_City shipped very fast!
Sucks though because I was all excited to install it after work tommorow.
This is what I find on the box:
UV WTF!!!! I ordered white...
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/380355450360?...ht_2613wt_1163

Inside the box:

White cold cathodes don't have the black line inside of it.

First time something wrong was shipped lol
Don't know what to do...
Just notified the seller, though.

I noticed on some of the sites, they don't have "white" as an option, only UV, why not touch them to your battery terminals just to test and see if you like it.
I'm cool with my LED's but I've been itching to give this mod a shot too...
Do they ignite immediately (like when you unlock and lock your car and it blinks?)

^I disagree wholeheartedly with that statement.
My nokyas in my oem fog area are still visible while my low beam 6k bulbs, parking lights and bumper fogs with hid's are on. SUPER bright...maybe the watts are different?
Anyway, about the yellow overlay, when I had my RSX I couldn't find an overlay that wouldn't eventually burn and turn brown in the center of the yellow.

I'll see if I can get them to turn on somehow...
I have a strong feeling that these are UV coloured.
The tube inside is clearly black on mine whereas the tube is clear on WHITE cold cathodes:

WHITE:

The best solution for this is to get some yellow overlays for your fogs to accompany the 3k HID's (click here). I have the Nokya 2.5k H8 bulbs..the color is nice but they are NOT bright. They're purely a cosmetic mod IMO and have no functional purpose.
Just not a huge fan of them.

Thanks man...so when clicking the unlock button, it just blinks but doesn't get to full brightness unless lights are turned on, huh. Probably not important.

If all fails, 8k looks really good too haha
