hey I just wanna know if you have had those side mirror lights through the winter? Puddle lights.
Mine stopped working last winter, I can only assume it was due to cold. We have had some -35 to -40 degrees days and eventually they both stopped working. I ordered new ones since they were pretty cheap and now have to replace them but I don't know if I even wanna deal with it since they might go bad again.

ebay listings for OEM parts are usually way overpriced

I installed them in March 2014, working perfect until one of them stopped working on June 2015. Looking at the one LED that stopped working, it seems water may have made its way inside the LED.
I'm now running the 3W LEDs since July 2015, and they are about better in every single way. Double-sealed, they feel heftier, way brighter, and better wires.

The plate area would be cool, but then I'd have to move the reverse lights, and I wouldn't be able to with the rear lip
The A-Spec lip hide all the lights at the bottom
Unless I customize the lip to have a window, but then it wouldn't be the same lol
Thanks MAS

I think its mainly the fact that you can't find the light piece or license plate piece anywhere

I think if there was some light blue in there (like from water or the sky) it would give some amazing contrast to the leaves in the photo.

that'd be nice for sure, but if you see the original, you'll realize how much blue hue i've added to this picture
the leaves are actually green, and the road was actually really dull grey, and the picture was less moody and bright
if i ever stop by toronto for reading week i'll let you know!

been trying to make my interior a little bit fresher
sorry for the bad pic, I'm playing around with lighting at night and I'm determined to get better at it.
This is a combination of about 5 pictures, lighting the steering wheel, center console, passenger door, etc all individually and bringing it all together in photoshop.
I got the Type-S gauge cluster bezel
Type-S aluminum radio trims (they look brand new, no wear)
Aluminum Pedals
Next thing I really want to do is to get the 05-08 hazard button.
I know its a waste of money, but the 15 bucks or so for the button is really worth it for me to get an updated look inside

I haz bad news Thanh - The license plate LEDs are shitting the bed (read: flickering). Looks like I gotta make a Walmart run tomorrow. I'll be thinking of us randomly going through Walmart lighting section while my car sat on the flat
Also might as well pickup ones for the doors (finally)

Or you can stop being a pussy and do the CCFL mod for the plate...been going strong over 3 years now IIRC.
Thanh, of course, man...I watch and learn from the best. That interior shot should be in a magazine...maybe Playgirl or JET. I buy it for the articles but I'd look at that picture all day.

That picture makes you focus and look hard at the detail.

I'm probably just going to get some 6Ks for now to tide me over while I decide if the CCFLs are worth the trouble

The walmart ones are bright too!
I'd look for the Sylvania LEDs, probably at Canadian Tire.
I heard those are perfect, and really bright.

I've replaced my license plate CCs to LEDs, but I still run them for my trunk lighting.
Thanks for the kind words man
I was thinking of buying Type-S interior door panels also, but I think that's going overboard for me. $240 CAD (180 usd) for all 4, with 11k miles on them, i was so tempted
I use 303 yes sir! In the interior pic, i haven't dusted my car in a very long time, or applied 303
I'd try it out on a small area, they say its good to use on CF vinyl depending on how shiny or matte you want it.
They really do last a long time, my trunk ones are over 3 years old, and the license plate ones I handed to my friend with the NBP TL in ottawa is still running.
I just replaced mine because cold cathodes takes time to warm up in the cold, and I wanted brighter

It's my friend who is parting out Type-S TL, I took the gauge bezel, aluminum trims, headlight, and side mirrors off him.
240 CAD is good considering, USA people want like 320+ USD for them.
I don't think I'm gonna get them, i know my limits, i spent too much already

the most noticeable (and awesome) part is the middle leather part.
the aluminum trim on top of the carbon fiber is also a slightly different pattern.
includes all electronics so the buttons will light up red also. you can sell the electrical components off if you desire
door panels need cleaning but they're mint off a car with 17000 km.
i already have someone from toronto interested in them, but I will message him to ask if he's still interested and get back to you if you're serious
I can't imagine shipping would be cheap, probably 80-100!
I still have the gauge cluster if you want, for around 120ish as is
but lets take it to PM if you want, i don't want to get banned here lol
It's plug and play, only you'll have the airbag light go on (you can electric tape it off in the back so the light doesn't show through) but you'll have the TPMS error show up every time you start your car, just click "select" button and it'll go away
oh wait, you have an 06 with TPMS so you shouldn't have any error

i started the day with like 97% inbox, so as we were talking i was constantly deleting messages and forgot to delete it for a moment and it caught up lol
I'd definitely upgrade my cluster if the TPMS error wouldn't show up everytime I started my car.

Thanks!
I was really excited to see my new headlights on the road so I didn't bring the camera haha
07/08 type-s internals with ZKW-R lens using 2 spacers.
Since I didn't want it to look like stock Type-S headlights, I added the stock projector lens to the DRL.
Looks awesome, but within 15 minutes of driving in the humid/rainy night, the passenger headlight started fogging up really bad while the other headlight stayed perfect.
I'll try to reseal today. It's my first time using something different than NAPA/3M window-weld butyl.
Looks like I also have to aim my headlights, I have a double slope going on lol
About the accord fogs, I think it's because I spent a week (on/off) working on them in my basement to get it to fit
