No, I don't have a tripod, lol. Probably gonna get one when I have time. This is my first DSLR, just started learning DSLR's like, 2 days ago. Which is when I got my camera.

Nice. Get yourself a nice, sturdy tripod. You will be amazed now great your pictures will look - especially night shots and low light scenery.

Also, there is a great book called "Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson that will help you out tremendously as a beginner. It's only like $15 bucks on Amazon.

I am gonna sound noob, Ive been in a type s before but in the daytime. But never seen one at night. But are the lights in the interior all red?
