Got bored at school...

From today, it was break time, I was outside in the parking lot. Took some pics with my phone. lol
Since I never showed my grille and headlights after I've done them.

To make this thread interesting, let me add some pics I took from school.

Pics of the Hangar
(P.S - that car that I circled in red is my car. LOL)

Boeing 737-500 (I think it's a 500 but I'm not sure)

The left 56-3B-1 from the 737

Close up of the front. I got goose bumps when I touched the rotor.

Ever seen the back of the engine from a commercial plane?
It's an awesome sight when you get to see it in person. It actually freaked me out, I got goosebumps from looking inside the back too. lol

A Rolls Royce engine from what I think, a Boeing 747.

It's HUGEEEEE, magnificent piece of machinery. It's an awesome sight when you get to walk up close and see it in person.

Enjoy the pictures!
Clem.

BCIT. It's a technology school. I'm Taking AME (Aircraft Maintenence Engineering). So I get access to the hangar there.

Yeah that's the new BCIT Aerospace Campus. It's so nice there. IMO better than Burnaby Campus.

LOL that's what I first thought too.

lol thx.
The phone better have good quality! lol
But that's what it's designed for. It's a Sony Ericsson K810i Cybershot camera.
If it doesn't have nice quality, then the phone is near useless compared to other phones in the market.

lol Yeah it is! ESP right outside the hanger in the parking.

Too bad I can't get access to the Hanger ramp. I wanna take a picture of my car there with the Hangar gate opened and the Boeing 737 exposed.

But they have Paladin Security partrolled 24hrs there. Might get shoo'ed away. I wonder if it makes a difference if I show them my BCIT student ID. lol

You must have good eyes to be able to spot my car in the parking from Russ Baker!

I don't see any other third gens other than me and this other bone stock 07' NBP TL-S

i am sorry clement but the license plate is soooo out of place with your NBP TL.
the front plate should be off the car, it'd look so much better!!!

but nothing we can do about that here......well, maybe you can put a tinted license plate cover on the front only.

LOL yeah it's a 1980 737 200. It's shitty and old but w/e. It's an experiment plane. We only have it because it's not gonna be flying for a while.

I wanna do a shoot in the hanger, but I don't know if I'm allowed. Cars are restricted into the area outside the hanger.

lol It does look nicer with no front plate.
But yeah, I have no choice.
I ran no front plate before. I got pulled over once for it, told the officer I didn't have the bracket to mount it on, he let me go.
2nd time I got pulled over, couldn't get away with the same excuse. He told me to get it back on and show him. Wrote me a warning VI.

Yeah but they got damaged. =[
I need to either repaint them or leave them. Cuz I'm getting new wheels anyways, these are the winters. Iunno if it's worth it to spend money on the winter wheels.

It's a Sony Ericsson K810i 3.2Megapixels Cybershot camera.
lol it's pretty nice for day pictures or place with lighting. But when you take it out at night, it's probably one of the worst cameras. lol

lol ty, yup that's why I bought the phone. Good camera so I don't have to go and bring my camera around and risk getting my windows smashed just for some daily random pictures.

I like your dome lights =[
I wanna do that but I actually use my lights. I can't read with red lights. lol

I didn't realize until you pointed that out! Hahahaa..
I guess the student got too lazy to park in the regular spots cuz the small car spots are abit closer to the entrance.

The Small Car areas are quite roomy tho.

Yeah, Landsdowne speedbumps scratched the middle. I didn't know it was gonna be that low so I didn't take it at an angle.
The one on the side is from some road in Burnaby.

lol opening the hangar doors is pretty damn loud thanks to the buzzers now.

i miss the old hangar which was right on yvr south terminal. and we actually had air side passes.

now the new hangar is self containted. wait till they pull the 737 out for a engine start or apu start, it will be outside the hangar. Since the gate to the hangar is unlocked all the time. you can probably do a quick photoshoot. but im pretty sure the gates are locked when school is closed.

Yeah! At first I was wondering what the hell that was until I saw the gate closing.

What? So I can drive into the ramp? But it's hard to catch the hangar gate opened! I guess I'll wait till they get the planes out for engine start. I don't think they will get the A737 out for start much, it's too noisy and probably fucks up everything beside the aircraft.
