for people with question re: the remote start with 6 sp. i assure you my car is 6 sp. and yes it does work. you just have to find a professional installer who'll moonlight and do it on the side. and my alarm is made by viper. and no i haven't ran into any walls or washing machines and i won't. i mainly use it in the morning at home before work where the land is flat and my car is never in gear.
