this is one sick ride
he's got tinted windows, viper remote starter, 6spd manual, radar detector
i wanted black, but its a mother to maintain...
he said he didnt mind if i post it...

the guy who did my alarm also hardwired the alarm. i ddn't get the smartwire hardwire with the mute button. i just got the regular hardwire. i just push the unit itself if i ever want to mute it but my music is usually loud enough to drown out the beep beep beep. THANKS JERKY FOR GIVING MY RIDE SOME LOVE.

I will look into it, thats crazy if its true!! The clutch has to be in for the car to start, so I dont know how they would get by that!! Unless there something that they made that surpasses the clutch, which if that is true thats amazing!!

I just got off the phone with Viper and they said that they dont have an alarm that would do that, and they havent heard of anything like that! Are you sure it wasnt an automatic?

Viper doesn't make one but Clifford used to. I am sure they did because I know someone who had it the auto start on a manual trans. IT IS possible also, but noone will do it because there is a liability if you leave it in gear that baby will launch.
Just make sure you leave it in neutral and put the ebrake on and it will work.

Dang that is pretty crazy! Do you know how they surpass pushing in the clutch? Because I couldnt start my car when it was in neutral without pushing the clutch in! I will have to look into clifford then because if it true I want it!! My Tl comes in in a few days! I have been waiting forever!! I live out here in Arizona! My Tl is going to be nighthawk black! I am pretty pumped! I have learned alot about the Tl from all you guys---Thanks!!

you can add autostart to a manual transmission....I know that Compustar makes an alarm that does it....my 5spd A4 had it and you gotta be careful not to leave it in gear cause It will try starting the car over and over and over again. The car will keep jumping forward a few feet at a time. Not sure about viper making one.
