Glad I kept my HRE's!!

so I put them up for sale, with only low-ball offers....I decided to keep em and re-finish em....results below.....also just finished a 6-hour complete exterior detail, you can see the depth in the panels.....

I took the wheels apart, wet-sanded (600-1000-1500-2000-2500-3000) and hand polished the lips, about 3-3.5hrs per wheel (my fingers are still sore) and had the centers powder-coated metallic silver... I assembled them with new Dow Corning #832 adhesive and after the 1st sleepless night...they hold air perfectly...

I'm glad you kept them too!!

They look great, awesome combo. I really like the subtle look. I'm getting tired of black rims and colorful rims. The silver is a great look.

Very nice. How old are the wheels and why did you refinish them? What kind of clear did you use?

Thanks!!
Wheels are about 2.5-3yrs old, came out looking brand new..no clear coat, it's straight polished aluminum...

I'll try to get better real spoiler pics, its the old KB1spec CF spoiler, front KB1spec as well...

Ahh nice car. I see you have a Titan tag. I've known Nero and Baadal since they were doing the company out of their parents house. I was in college at Embry-Riddle but lived in Lake Mary. I'm driving down soon this winter and were planning to have dinner including Eric Kerwin. You should join us.

You did the right choice in keeping the HRE's!! I wanted a set of them, but just out of my budget, so I went with VS-XX. The car looks beautifull! It gives me an idea what my car will look like as it is also AM! The yellow fog lamps look damm saaaweet!! Can you tell me what exhaust are the ones on the TL?? Are the tips 3 or 3.5??

Nice!

I love that spoiler. I gotta find me one like that!

Nice Type-S conversion. Looks like you went farther than I did! Real Type S headlights and the Type S rear lip.

Great work!
