I don't bother getting involved in this shit, but Luke, you're 100% at fault here.
After the entire ordeal with Paul and so many members defending/supporting you, you'd think that HONESTY would pay a HUGE fucking roll on your end now.. I don't care what website you use to sell your TL, honesty is key in anything. Paul did a hack job on your TL, and that my friend hurts when selling the car. It's easy now for PushFour to look at that thread and realize what happened to the TL. The job wasn't done right and it's still not right. It's still unsafe and could leave you or the next owner stranded. You MUST disclose that information when you sell your car! This community has hit the Shit for sure.. Best of luck on your new accord. Should have bought a manual version instead.

I havery done my best to stay cool. I almost lost my shit when I found his trans post. I did message him and tell him he was lucky I did not buy the car and it break on me.
As for him buying an automatic he sucks at driving stick. I think that was also part of the trans demise.
I want to thank everyone for helping me show luke that this was a shady situation.

Isn't it normal to list the mileage in an ad? I would think at least.
Funny he lists the 105K service done though.
Sorry to break the bad news, but a 2004 TL with 130K ish miles (probably has more - he got it in 2011 with 109K) doesn't justify $10K to me. And that would be a perfect running OEM manual car.
He may well find a buyer as is, but IMHO this car is $5K at best on a good day with the issues it has. KBB has excellent condition at $7K for private party.

Not liking this too much, Luke. I don't know if you're reading anyone's replies, but I side with everyone else here, J and 04WDP especially.

Being a shady seller will run off more buyers than a partial truth ad. Be completely honest upfront about what was done to the car, because if you sell the car and don't let someone know, you'll have more of a headache than when you did the swap with Paul, that's for sure.

it is pp, like you that ruin craigslist!!! i have sold many cars on there and bought many also. the more detailed my ads were including issues with the car the quicker it sold. i have sold at least 7 all within a week including my TL that had unknown mileage and a NAVI unit on it's way out.
but i have been on the other end when i bought a 99 civic SI from a guy in ohio. got it home after a 3 hour drive the head was leaking and the "little" exhaust leak turned out to be a GM cat welded to the downpipe that was welded to the header. ect ect. so i put it on craigslist disclosed what happened and took a hit. but i still sold it in 4 days without the guy even looking at it.
but you went out of your way to kill Paul and talk about how shady he is. YOU ARE THE SHADIEST KIND you fukn scammer!!! i live on CL so i will be flagging your add daily. update it with the truth or it will never get sold you piece of shit. WTF is wrong with ppl?????

Paul was banned, one of the reasons implied was that he was using the forum to make money (even after he returned a large chunk of his fee, as he should have done).
