lots of friends lost power thanks to the snow. Many trees fell over from the weight of the snow and the leaves still on them. I had to clean the snow off my car Sunday morning in NJ to drive back to NC, Passed many warning signs with ice or black ice-SLOW DOWN.

I'm sure no one was ready. That's way too damn early for that much snow.

That blows.

I shoveled and took the TL out for a spin to test out the tires. They did very well. Much better traction than the ones that were on the Infiniti.

....and everyone assumes it snows more up in Canada....

I have my snows on order, and likely won't get them till next week. Hoping I don't wake up to snow in the meantime...not really looking forward to the winter.....

What tires? I'm curious how the car will perform in the snow, I slept all day and didn't get to go for a drive. lol

I have Michelin Primacy MXM4. Not the Michelin Pilots that come with the car. The car itself did very well. It is not a Subaru so don't expect to go ripping around corners on ice, but if you drive smart then you should be fine.

Out for 5 days and still reeling from the pain. Streets look like a war zone and people were in line for gas for hours. Thought I was back in the 70's during the gas crisis.

Well played sir. My apologies. I'll now go put my panties in the dryer.

We will eventually get dumped on here in Southern, Maine. And I'm convinced my street is a magnet for snow. I live near a small Mountain (Agamenticus for those scoring at home) and it funnels everything our way.

I have a new set of snows and steel wheels in the basement ready to go on my wife's TL.

Running Firestone Winterforce which I highly recommend. They are NOT performance winters by any stretch. But they tracked like a tank on my Volvo.

I'll keep my all seasons on my TL.

Lol . I'm not upset now it's been a couple good day's since so most of it is melting. I hope it all melts atleast before it snows again.
