Looks good bro, except........

I know front plates are required here, but it would honestly look better in the stock location.

I had it on the stock location (middle bottom of the bumper) but the plastic clips that hold the plate holder and the license plate arent strong enough, even with locks behind the bumper. one time they fell off when I pressure washed the car.

right now it mounts directly on the frame (through the tow hook location). its pretty strong, you can practically kick it and it wont budge. best part is that the plate doesnt touch the body. it is about an inch and a quarter to an inch and a half off the body.

If i had my way, id go no front plates at all. lol

thank you. I try to just keep it clean and stock looking, as it is my daily driver.

Looks good OP. That front plate does look out of place but I guess you don't have much of a choice

i live in calif and have never stopped for not having a license plate in front of car. i have gotten stopped a couple times and never once been told anything about not having license plate. i work where cops go everyday and see my car and don’t tell me anything either. Maybe cops are more strict around where you live but havn’t heard of anyone being stopped for no license plate in california.

love the wdp i got wdp also, pictures of a wdp at night are real nice also especially when just detailed.

^You've just been lucky. Thank god Nevada doesn't require a front plate.

thats the funny thing. on all my 3 previous cars, I've NEVER had a license plate. I had a 3000GT, and Evo and then an Evo MR. not one of them had a front plate and I was NEVER stopped.

on this car, I was stopped once, by the CHP, asking me where my front plate was. in CA, it is required to have a front plate. like what UA6 said, you're just lucky like I was with my previous cars.

such is life.

its funny cause i really don’t wanna say this but just to show how lucky its been ill say it. i havn’t changed my tags yet, i have them but i just havn’t changed them. i guess its luck but when a cop stopped me, I accidently handed him the tags and he didn’t ask why aren’t they on my car.

its one of those things that always get passed me on my to do list.

But ya if u have been stopped already i guess might aswell have the license plate on.

The car looks great! It would turn my head if it passed, just not too sure on the placing of the license plate isnt my favorite.
