That is a clean TL bro...I love those wheels..I had the same set on my TL but i had them in 20x8.5...I see yours are 19x8.5 +38, did you have to put spacers to clear the brembos because i had to put a 5mm spacers to clear the brembos?

I'm was lowered all the way front and back on the Tein Basics, but I had to raise it about 3/4" because of the garbage roads in SC.

I just ordered the the plenum spacer to help with the heat soak. Do you think that ordering the plastic spacers for the throttle body would help with the heat soak?

Unfortunately, I'm back to the stock rims. I hit a massive pothole, and completely destroyed the passenger side front rim. I think I'm gonna Plasti-Dip the stockers in gunmetal grey or possible matte black. I still wanna do the matte black vinyl on the roof, and then I'll probably call it quits(yeah right)

Sorry, I missed this post. Fortunately, I didn't need spacers that's the main reason I got those rims. I had some mesh rims that needed 10mm spacers and they would constantly rub the fenders even with them being rolled.

I see you have the PCD's and the v3 j-pipe. I have the same with the comptech exhaust and it is raspy. I installed a magnaflow resonator and its still raspy. Is urs raspy and which magnaflow resonator did you install?

It actually isn't raspy except right at 3,000rpm, and I have a 14" bodied Magnaflow resonator. I'm thinking about stepping it up to a to a 22" Magnaflow resonator.

Thats how mine is. Between 3K and 4K rpm. Its so annoying at times. I believe resonator that i have is 14" also...I think the 22" sounds like a good idea...

I also think/hope when I get my longer resonator, I will put it up nearer to the J-Pipe. The one I have now is 18" behind the the flange that mounts the J-Pipe to the exhaust, and I'm hoping that moving it forward will help too.

Honestly, I don't know if anything will help short of taking of the PCD's. When I cracked a weld on my old one, I had to put the nasty stockers back on. Just like like my rasp was gone, but so was the performance and that nice off throttle rumble.

Already got the CAI it ain't pretty, but it gets the job done. Two CF tubes with a 90º silicone bend and an AEM Dryflow filter. I usually get about 15º-20º above ambient temps.

Thats exactly what i'm planning to do. an eastern nc/sc weekenn meet next spring. The Stevenson Acura dealership is on board with it as well. I'm working out plans now... NC always has them in Charlotte and Raleigh but not on the coast.

Thanks for the compliment. Unfortunately, a massive pothole literally cracked my right front rim. So, I'm back on stock rims for now. I also had to raise the coilovers about 3/4" because of the garbage roads here in SC.

Thanks ACCURATEin, I really appreciate the thumbs up. I consider your UA6 honestly the best looking UA6 I've ever seen. Especially the front end with the Versus bumper with the canards and the rear with the diffuser.

I'm still not sure exactly when I'll make it up there as I got my P2R intake plenum gasket to install, and I figured I'd pull the valve covers off. So, I can check the valves, but I gotta order the valve cover gaskets and the upper plenum gaskets. I'm just trying to decide if I should go with OEM valve cover gaskets or spend half the price for some Fel-Pro's.

I'll be heading up to Hendrick Acura to get the power steering recall and windscreen wiper motor fixed. Maybe we can meet up somewhere? I'd love to scope out your UA6, and I know BlitzBlackGSXR had mentioned meeting up when I'm up that way.

After thinking about it for a few minutes. I'm almost afraid to see your ride cuz it'll just depress me and my relatively plain UA6.

You should see my a-spec lip. It's all scratched up from the crappy roads here in SC. It sure makes me miss FL.
