Finally, '05 SSM TL Aspec complete...

Well, I'm done (according to my wife). I might blackout the headlights but that's it ... Here are some pics of my SSM with black chrome aspecs and the new house...

Looks great! I'm not an A-spec wheel expert...what makes the wheels "black chrome"? They just look like normal chrome to me.

They are painted black before the chrome.... giving it a deeper/darker chrome look.

It's not too bad, you ought to see the lakehouse driveway, almost a 45* angle . What part of 400 do you travel? I'm usually inbetween Alpharetta and Cumming...

Very nice! House looks great, but the car looks better. Do you have the A-Spec suspension as well? Those tails look great. I'll keep my eyes out for you the next time I'm out your way.

Love the Black chrome A-Specs. I'm looking for a set myself!

I actually also have the Fujita intake on my car. How's yours sound? Any whistling while normal driving?

And I'm so envious of your 3 car garage!!!

Any type of incline, my car will scrape the air dam lol.

I'm usually found on 400 from exit 5 - 11 depending on where my friends and I will decide to go for dinner any given day of the week.

I purchased it about a year ago on a group buy from Tim on www.oemacuraparts.com I think it was around $750-$775 shipped. Fairly easy install if you know how to remove the bumpers and reinstall. Definitely a DIY job, don't pay someone...

Yes, I did the manual Aspec suspension about a year ago. Not a bad DIY but it freaked out the wife when she saw everything pieced out on the garage floor. I got the "you know how to put all of that stuff back in/on" look. I've always loved the S tails. Now if I could just get the headlights to match ...

Contact AckTL05 and see if he has any sets left, great price if you need to upgrade tires (my stock 17's were bald so I upgraded). Love the Fujita and it sounds great. I've always had intakes on all of my cars and I haven't noticed any whistling with this intake. I have heard what sounds like a tiger growl when I get on it... I've waited a lot of years to finally get my 3 car garage. No more kids digging up my doors with their bikes, hopefully.

I believe Mansell is exit 8 so anywhere inbetween 8 and 14. I'll definitely keep an eye out We'll have to get a Northern ATL-Azine outing for a couple of beers.

I pride myself on doing everything DIY but for some reason I have a small mental block on throwing perfectly good headlights in the oven. I'll probably do it one day when the wife is gone and I've had a beer or two

Haha im the same way! I wanna do it but kinda nervous about something so expensive in the oven. thats probably why i went ahead first with the overlays, until i work up the guts to do it my self. lol ill probably try it soon though...and if it turns out good i could come help you out, your only about 45 minutes away from where I live.

love it!

Blacking out the headlights with switchbacks would be awesome. I just did it and you won't regret it!

Only downside with the aspecs is that i wish my rears were wider so they don't sink in!

Where did you get your switchbacks from?

Yeah, the 18 x 8.5 would be perfect...
