Get these! These are the updated Tein SS coils. Cheapest I've found yet. They retail $940.

Sure am on those that I linked you. I haven't found anywhere cheaper.

Plus those are the newest version. Tein SS is outdated by those.

I really like the new XLR8 coilovers....I think they are decent bang for the buck if he is still running the introductory pricing....

^^^ ohh no dude....we are just having a conversation here lol....and if you like something and i dont or the other way around, doesnt make you a douche....

but for the price, 850-900 i feel the 32 point adjustable coilovers are a good deal....yeah the manufacturer screwed the 1st set by mounting the plate backwards but still, i feel they are good bang for the buck....

an in no way am taking away from Teins.....I have had my Tein Basics since 4 years and 80K miles, without an ISSUE !!! they def sell themselves....

^^^ so are ISC's....John (ebelp) has the ISC's....and they can drop lower than Teins....

but down the line if you plan on getting EDFC, then stick with Teins....as i mentioned, i cant praise tein's build quality enough but the ISC's are big too, just not with the Acura's but if you look up lexus/etc they are BIGGGG !!!

I don't plan on EDFC, if I tracked the car and DD it I would, but I have no use for it. Maybe if it was cheaper

Also, the Teins do a 2.9" drop, which is far more than I need

Yeah, I'd probably get it where I want it but if I ever went to NC to visit my brother I'd make the damping stiff. Mountain roads =

They are decent I had a guy near by that was selling them to me... but at that time they were having the top mount problem ... I didn't have a problem switching the top mount. but there wasn't much info about the outcome on doing that so I decided to pass on that one. But they seems to be working fine now... I just need more info on them .

The Tein SS have been out for a while and thats why I'm aiming more to the Tein SS than the ISC ones. but Im going to wait a while to see what people say about the ISC that would deff make up my mind as for which one i want to get.

You still got it wrong the SS is outdated and retails for like $1100. The Street Advance (SA) is the newer version, and they're cheaper by like $200.

Yeah so the newer version of Tein SS in the Tein SA, but for how long have they been out??? Its just the same as for the ISC coilovers!!! I need more info on both of them.

thats why I was deciding on the Tein SS.!!!

Yeah I'm thinking the same way here... These companies are top of the line on their products. So there really nothing to worry about. Now all I need is the money.. lol

Update

I was looking around on the performance section and saw the RV6 V2 dual exhaust forum. I've made the deposit but don't know if I got in to this batch since they were saying that there were only 20 systems... And I'm pretty sure there are more than 20 deposits made already.

Hopefully I got in !

Thanks man ! When I first got the car I was thinking about going with the WDP but then I decided to just keep as it was and I'm glad I made that choice.

I know I was looking into the ATLP quads as well but it seems that those are taking a little longer to get produce so I decided to go with the RV6 quads. I can't wait to see how they look. I'm still thinking about which way to go with the tips...

Polish finish or Black Chrome??? what do you think?

Black Chrome will look a lot more exclusive....

and since Marcus @ HeelToe took over ATLP orders, things have sped up....with the RV6 you will be waiting for a while...

Probably a lighter theme ... I just love how the blue and chrome look together...

Have you seen my front bumper, the way I painted the grille insert. I think it looks great.

Yes I did see it, I like it a lot. If you're going for a lighter theme I'd go with polished tips.

Hello Azine brothers. I know I've been absent for a couple of days but I've been so busy at work and also with the family since we got family visiting for Georgia.

The car is looking as sharp as new. I drove it for about 3 days straight and now I see why everyone is trying to make their TL's lighter cus that thing is a wallet killer "Gas wise". Other than that the car handles so smooth, suspension is right on point and also gotta love the VTEC... lol

Anyways... I'll be working on it this Sunday. My rear camera still not working and I was wondering if any of you guys can help me.... I need somebody that has a Orange DVD to take a picture of your Navi Info which should look like this.

Here is another picture of the car.

i had a CAI no exhaust components and just drive at 70-75mpg !!!

once i got the exhaust i was revving it a little too much but still i was getting ~28-29MPG highway....

after the weight loss, i still rev it a little too much but i do get 33-34MPG highway cruising at 70-75MPH...

Ill take it to the dealer next week so I can do the trans flush and also do a diagnostic on the Navi Unit since its not working for some reason I can not explain.

so you fixed a completely messed up car and wanna take it in for a tranny flush

DIY my friend....its very very simple....takes 5 minutes (ok am exaggerating, takes 30 minutes for the drain and refill)....do it 3-4 times with a 100-200 mile interval

oh Im pretty sure I know how to do it ... I mean I do that for a living ... But I'm taking it to dealer to do the diagnostic on the Navi System because Neither my rear camera and the Navigation are working on it and I've done everything I could of ... I checked every wire on the Navi Unit , Fuses , Relays and even took the Whole Navi Unit apart and soldered everything on it just in cases anything was loose. So now the only option I got is to see if it is that I got a bad navi unit ... Which means $2000.00 more out my pocket.

And thats why I'm also letting them to do the trans flush !!!
