Drive around NW Austin with my GoPro
I was messing around with my new GoPro today and thought I'd share this with the Acurazine community. Video can be switched to 720p if you want to see it closer to the original 1080p quality it's recorded in. Hopefully I get this link to work...

Nice video. I saw a video with a GoPro from the cockpit of a new Lamborghini Aventador, which was cool too.

My next car will have a cockpit haha. The video of the gopro being sent up to 80,000 feet on the balloon, falling back to earth and surviving the crash is pretty impressive as well.

Take a look at the different "editions" that they have. I got the motorsports edition which just means that the suction cup mount is included with the camera. I think there is an outdoors edition which has a chest harness if you're into skiing, snowboarding, etc. You can buy mounts for helmets, handlebars and more. The best deal I found was on Amazon. $299 delivered to my door so it saved me sales tax buying through them basically.

Ya that part of town is pretty rough. Luckily the part of Austin I'm in has pretty smooth roads for the most part, but there isn't anything interesting to film there.

I recommend getting the LCD "backpack" for it as well. I paid $79 for it. It attaches to the back of the camera. With it you can make sure your angle is the way you want it before you start driving (this could save you a lot of frustration), it's a LOT easier to go through the menu functions and you can watch your videos on it instantly with sound. I got mine on Amazon as well. Have fun! Post some videos.
