Hey Everyone,

I washed and waxed the car on Saturday (9/12), and to my luck it rained heavily on Sunday and lightly on Monday. Good thing I waxed it, but I hope I still repp NPB well

Anyways, I believe I'm the first to COMPLETE this taillight mod, I know BforBrian had it as a concept, props to him for all his mod's and motivation btw.

Anyways without further delay, here are the pictures! Please drop a comment to tell me if you like it! Honestly, it's kind of hard to justify how these taillights look in pictures, they look great in person. A part of me wishes I smoked them out a little bit.

Looks good man! Should have smoked out the lower reflector. All that white stands out with your color car. But it still looks good. I'll be modding my tails pretty soon. Similar to yours, just a little different.

Very clean.. I would give more credit to "dope!" as he is the one who gave me the thought and actually pulled it off first... you are the first with that specific combination of chrome trim and red turn signal reflectors but dope! basically had the same setup but with the smoked trim...

agree with jptl04, too much white/chrome in the rear but i can't say they don't look better than any stock tail light, whether it be the base all red, 07-08 base, or type s tail. Very clean.

Thanks! I just went 1.5" lower on front and rear, I'll be going lower eventually, but Santa Cruz has some crazy ass streets.

Yup it was installed the same time with the coilovers, I still can't really feel the difference when I'm screwing around with the dampening though, maybe that's just me.

Ahh, I thought I saw it somewhere else too, thanks for clearing that up! Yeah, completely agree especially when I'm going getting black rims eventually, the white is going to completely stand out. Thanks for the advice as always Brian.

Haha sorry about that, I was experimenting on a couple filters. I think the picture that might of giving you that feeling was the DOF on some pictures.

I agree, it might of looked cleaner on a all white car, but with my car being all black, it definitely needs a little smoke.

Wheels are coming in like half a year , my recent mods burned a hole into my wallet.

Honestly, I considered that, but if you seen the JDM concept lights, you'd know there the opposite. Going for a smoked look is a risk, not all cars pull it off and not all tints shade work either. To me clearing pulls off the closest oem look.

No, i know they dont look like REAL IS300 altezza's. What I mean is the whole clear corner type deal was dope like 10yrs ago on civics with HUGE wings....and mini trucks. Your right, to each his own.......

HAHA, funny you mention that.. I was kind of angry and the time and didn't account for my actions (I was 16, give me a break), drifted into a tree... Wasn't totalled, but yeah not a good experience with that car, TL ftw.

Thanks bro! I just got new Red V-LED 48 Tower for my signals, the LED board is still stock for the taillights. This mod looks STOCK at night, you can't tell the difference at all haha.
