DigitalEmpire22's KBP TL-S Progress Thread
I have been meaning to do this for quite awhile, but never got around to it until now.
In the summer of 2010 I traded in my 1999 CL 2.3L (162k miles) for a MUCH sexier 2007 TL Type S (42k miles).
Since than I have completely fallen in love with the TL and have many many many plans for her in the future.

Damn I love KBP
I'm all for supporting the Acurazine community but I don't like the size and location of the sticker.

The size was bigger than I expected when I ordered, probably should have measured it first, but I figured I would rock it for awhile anyways. Good thing about stickers is they can always come off. Just waiting on my stickers from the Holiday drive and that one will prolly go.

Nice thread Digital! Good start. Aspec FTMFW! Put that ish on already lol. Didn't know you took the ride up to Bandy...cool! I want to run some auto X after I get my exhaust & jpipe. I've never run at Bandimere, that could be fun too. Planning any other performance mods? Wheels?

The engine bay is KBP, it is just a shitty pic. I have one with better light, but I didn't want to post it because the paint is a little spotty. I didn't buy enough paint the first time and ran out at the worst time
Good news is a new batch of pain is sitting in my garage waiting for warmer weather. Once I repaint them, I will post a new pic with my CAI.
Do you have a manual? I have the 5 A/T I am sure that has something to do with it.

That was on there when I bought the car. Apparently the dealer thought he could hide the scratches and minor damage to the car with that pinstripe and some touch-up paint. Looks like someone took it off the road into a bush or something.
There are hairline scratches here and there. Plus damage to the rear bumper. And You can see in the first day pics that the front chrome bar was broken, the fog bracket was broken in the bumper as well.
But I fixed all of that. Plus I LOVE the KBP couldn't pass it up and I planned on painting her differently down the road anyways so it was ok. (Still gonna be KBP just different )

Me too I just like blue in general, but this paint can change so many different variations of blue it is awesome
Thanks man!
I never thought about the air playing a major roll in the time, guess that makes sense. Makes me feel way better too, now I don't gotta make sure my spare tire doesn't weigh 1,000 lbs. Also makes me wonder what those Civics running 10-12s that day would be running at sea level
I can't wait for the A-Spec either! Think it ships next week!!!

100lbs is equivalent to 1/10 off your quarter mile. After your done pulling all that stuff out, weight it.

I know, the second I saw this color in person I knew I couldn't have the car in any other color. Almost passed her up for NBP but you see NBP everywhere KBP is another story
Thanks man! I love them too. They make the car stand out of the crowd. Especially when the switchbacks are on as well.
I got them from V-LEDs, link is here http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/D...52845-1-3.html
Thanks man, I don't have the patience to take all of that stuff in and out of my car. But good luck, hope you hit your time!
I know, I know thinking when the A-Spec comes I might change it out, I haven't decided yet.
Thanks, plan to take it off when my new stickers from the holiday drive come. I dunno why everyone hates it so much lol
For sure! I love the pic of your 2g-S and my 3g-S next to each other. Will have to get some new ones next meet
Thanks for the props.
Thanks man.
I got my CL painted in 2009, at a local MAACO . They did a pretty good job accept they sprayed my muffler and exhaust tips.
Thanks man, I love that pic. It is the best one of my car by far.
That looks so much better! Thanks so much dude!
Damn you mean I coulda got 16.4 if I just would have taken the backseat out!
Thanks man, I haven't seen another OEM color like it. Absolutely love it
I wanted a 6MT too, but was impossible to find in this color. I am hoping to do a swap the 5AT for a 6MT one day.
Thanks man! I LOVE your ride!

So for the DRL you aren't running the resistor? I remember reading the thread on the DRL on VLEDS and some people were using it while others weren't. I assume you don't have the error message on your display?
Also for the switchbacks, are they from VLEDS as well? Do you have V1 or V2? And did you have to get resistors for those?
