Depo smoked side markers on my AM

One of the front side markers stopped working so instead of buying just one marker for $50+sh i decided to get 4 Depo side markers off of ebay for 69.99 shipped. I like them they blend well with my AM. Slight modification on the Depo and the fit perfectly. Better than paying an arm and a leg for OEM.

Looking good! I have the DEPO ones on my TL as well. I love the light output that the LEDs give compared to the OEM ones

Glad to hear! I've had mine for almost two years and I haven't had an issue with them yet.

I trimmed the plastic arround the clip that snaps in to the body panel. I guess just try the fitment as is and then see if you can make any small changes to make it fit better. It was a very small change i had to do so nothing major. I didnt change anything on the front just the back ones.

I am happy with the way the car is right now. I went through the moding phase with my accord and after all the issues I had with the suspension and lights and such, I am not going to make any drastic changes on this car.

Lookin' good. I just put mine in two weeks ago. I pause to look at the car when I lock and unlock it remotely just to see the sidemarkers go on and off. I have 35% overlays to lightly smoke the tails, and blend with everything else. I don't like blacked-out or extra-dark smoked tails. I just wanted to mute them a little because in bright daylight, those tails look REALLY red and it clashes with the rest of the car IMO.

Lastly, I had no installation problems that required any modding and noticed that even the OEM lights had slight variations in fitment.

+1 Keep the red tails. It's a nice contrast.

This small mod (of putting TL-S markers on the rear) makes a big difference on AM. I put the OEM ones on my car and it really blends in nicely.

Here's how mine turned out:

Looks really nice man. Is your car on stock height with these 18" wheels?

Thanks for the compliment. To answer your question - the car is not at stock height. I have the A-Spec suspension on there.

How hard was the install other than having to trim it a little bit? Was it just plug in play?

I like the Depo sides as they are darker than OEM. I'm doing a black-on-AM theme and they work real well with that.
TL-S tails are the kicker to any car with the TL-S/Depo sides, esp AM.
Sameer---very clean ride, man. It looks great.

Thanks man. I havent seen AM with type-s lights in person. Will see if anyone has it on the next Houston meet. If i go to Type-S lights it would have to be OEM since i want a perfect fit on that. Saw a few threads with bumper fittment issues with DEPO lights.

I thought people had some fitment issues with the bumper fitting right with DEPOs. There are some OEMs on ebay for 215 shipped which is not a bad deal IMO. I would probably go with these.

True, that's not a bad deal.
Check the black market, people are always selling stuff there. Honestly, I got the hookup of the century with my Type S's...forum dude sold me OEM ones that were scratched up for 100 shipped. Fedex cracked the corner off of one so I put in a claim and they sent me 110 (cost to replace 1 based on ebay). By the time I got the check I decided I could live with the llittle crack so I basically got them for free. lol. Good stuff.

Anyway, the fitment is not with the bumper I don't think, I think it has to do with the edge of the lense sticking out a LITTLE more than OEM. Not a big deal I'm pretty sure.

The fitment on the Depo tails is not perfect, but its not bad, either.
I personally like my Depo sides and tails. I got a fantastic deal off a guy on eBay for the Depo sides and tails PLUS a set of Type-S sides all for $165. Be patient and you will find a deal.
