Debadge/Rebadge

I wanted to get the "ACURA" badge off the trunk.....

but then it looked balanced to one side, so I did a rebadge, which balanced things out.

To make it truly balanced you must remove that badge toward the bottom of the trunk.

Different, but it loox weird to me. TL Type S makes sense. That Type-S badge sitting by itself right above the MOMO badge loox kinda rice-y. Reminds of those Type-R badges people were sticking to anything that moved.

sorry steve, not really feeling it. Although your type-s is HAWT FIYOURE, I would probably do as the others would suggest, and put the type-s badge on the bottom passaenger side of the trunk and remove everything else, it would look nicer IMO.

No badges! Those who don't know it's a Type S without the badge, don't know what a type S is in the first place. Sorry I can't help with badge placement.

OK-so here's my question then....

Do you:

1) Not like the Momo emblem
2) Not like the TL on the left
3) Not like both the TL and the Momo emblem
4) Debadge the whole thing...Type S badge and all

Just leave the Type-S Badge. You could leave it where it is or put it where the A-Spec badge would go. Either would look fine

i used to have JUST the type S badge, and i liked how that looked up close. but i thought it stood out too much from 10+ feet away (strange as that sounds) ... anyway, i ended up removing it too and have been pleased with that decision ever since. thats my story, take from it what you will. = )

what i usually do with my cars is debadge completely and then re use the letters/emblems somewhere else (usualy interior not like on the outside of the car)

with the TL im considering putting the type s symbol above the side markers maybe?in the front

imo debadge completely

Steven... I say just the Type-S should stay. I'm thinking about doing the same thing to my car as well. Knowing you, I think that you should get a carbon fiber "A" for the center and then you can call it the day

Get rid of the red trim on the bottom while you're at it. Makes the TL look like some GTI wannabe

Morrissey, the "A" on the trunk is from Amp'd Emblem, so it lights up red when the headlights are on. Maybe I can Carbon Fiber it, for sure.

I got another "TL" because the original "TL" badge's stick-em came off when I debaged it.

No...the red trim stays. I like it. It actually looks very good in person.

It's ironic you ask that. I have a close friend who owns a NBP Type S. He's a Kansas cop. He said that this is possibly going through the legislature. It might become law in Kansas. It would be OK-at least we only have to have one license plate!
