Damn my dude, that sh%t is retarded.. Like is it that hard to go out & buy your own bracket. At least nothing else was taken. They should've gotten a ear full of your Train Horns, when dem was fu#king with ya car....

Yo Scott, back in Jamaica, a ni%#a, would get his hands chopped off for fu&king with someone's car.. Too bad the rules are different over here

they didnt set off my horns thats the thing. I'm gonna be adjusting the sensitivity soon. If the horns would've went off I would've popped them from the window. I'm in that kinda mood and mode to hook off on anyone lately.

I'd rather not disclose where I am exactly in NY. I've been having issues lately. Last week someone stole my license plate and just this past weekend when I went to get my fenders rolled I noticed 3 lugs missing off my back aspec rim. Someone is fucking with my car and when I catch them it's a wrap. I've stepped up my security measures too. I'm tired of making my car look good and for someone else to mess with it. After this car I'm done with Honda/Acuras altogether. They stole my brothers roof wing off his tsx at 3 in the afternoon a couple weeks ago. But see the douchebag that did it get another thing coming to him. But it's just the point that we work hard to have nice things just to go through this crap.

As for going more lower. The rear is set I don't rub and the wheels are tucked. The front I have to tweak it more. I drive upstate yesterday up on the mountain where I used to hunt to spread my other brothers ashes. And low and behold the car made it thru being low and with people in the car too.

...brother's ashes!?! I'm really sorry to hear that.

Just tighten up security, man...no need to make it a wrap yourself and to be honest, if you're someone that appreciates a great looking modded car, you'll have the same problems with a Nissan or Toyota (ok, maybe not a prius). I hope they leave your car alone...

if it makes you feel any better, I didn't put the scuttle hole on my attic lately and last night I heard something fall...fk...this old satelite dish cover that I had up there fell on my hood. Is it better or worse when you get damage and you do it yourself.
LOL.

Yeah it was my older brother who passed last year, cancer was the cause. But I hear ya on losing the interest in modding. It just gets so damn bothersome to keep dealing with it. I'm in a nice quiet area too. I just ordered a few add ons to my alarm last night, also ordered project kic lugs. I just bought Godspeed ones but there not fitting the rim perfectly. And the locks are bothersome too. Later today if I have time I'm buying a camera setup too so I'll catch them that way and if my alarm goes off someone is getting the ass whipping of a lifetime.

my condolences to you and your family dude.....

yeah when i was setting up the group buy for the JnR ECU, someone asked me not to put their name on the list and just have the name masked off....i thought he wanted to keep it a secret from the forum....turns out, people in his neighborhood (Canada) lurk on the forums and basically see what all you have and come for your ride and steal stuff outta it.....

hate thieves man....i remember when my house got broken in....they took 6,000 worth of stuff....i mean the stuff was replaced by insurance but the feeling of your privacy being evaded was not fun at all....

take care of the car....precaution is better than cure and you are doing it right

Dude, growing up in South Florida, I AM always super paranoid about anyone knowing too much of anything about my car. That is why I keep my facebook and car totally separate...I don't care about posting plates because thieves can just follow you or get your plate at a meet. but I never brag about sound system or rims or anything for that reason...I'm just lucky she sleeps in a garage at night and in a gated yard for work.

J.

Again, sorry about your brother.

Scott I'm sorry for your loss. I'm an only child so I can only imagine how rough the road has been for you and your family

And why the hell do people keep messing with your car? I think I would go crazy. Can you get a car cover and lock it underneath with a wire and lock or something so it can't be pulled off?

What can I say I have haters that love me... I can say one thing that'll set off the masses but over here in NY it holds true and I'd rather not say it to start shit up. but the fact of the matter is is that these cars got cheaper now so everyone is into getting tl's. As for a cover that won't help since I'm aiming a camera right on the car and I'm going to turn the motion sensor light and aim that on the car too. Someone will get caught real soon and suffer great agony for fucking with me. I'm going back to an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth. Touch my car loose your hands....both of them. Then I'll leave you there lying in the street crying for the cops and I'll go back to bed.

The thing that's a bit of a pain is getting the wiring into the car. The passenger is easy it's the drivers side thats more so of a pain really. I used the grommet that's under the moped plug. Cut a hole into it and pass it thru there. But for the drivers side it's best to loosen the fuse box and get in right above it. But removing the skirts is simple, easier with a second set of hands which I didn't have. Actually a six pack was my helping hands lol.

Car keeps looking better and better man. How are you liking that swift plate? Easy to install, plenty of room for it? And is that just manual flip up and down?

Thanks! There's plenty of room for the swift plate. I have the motorized one, it's kinda redundant to get the regular one if you ask me. The cost of the motorized one is ridiculous but it's one of those items that it only makes sense to get it that way.

Swift is like a "flip-a-plate", right?!?! I've thought about getting one for all the dang red light cameras...not that I run them, but I have so many instances where the person in front goes super slow and you get caught in the middle.

Puddles look great too! Wire your alarm add ons to those puddles...the would be thieves will think it's a space ship and gtfo!

^^mine doesn't rattle and I've gone up to 90mph. I have it where when it flips out its right against the outer most part of the bumper which is the lip. And I also have the cushion pad on the back too.

^^yeah it's for the front plate peeps. If it were up to me I wouldn't even rock the front plate. I already messed a few cops up with it. I was driving around with it down and a cop passed opposite of me and made a u-turn and caught up to me to see if it was missing. I flipped it up and he pulled alongside my front end and I saw him looking. I started grinning cause I know he was in search to write a ticket.
