CubanLynx84's '08 Type-S progress thread (Updated 4/20/12)
Here's a few night shots from last night...This thread will probably also turn into my progress thread when I get a little more time to put all my pics together. But on to the pics....
There is some camber going on which I am going to get it aligned this week. Hopefully I won't need a camber kit. I'm about 1 finger space all around on tein ss's on a-spec's no rubbing at all too. I do plan on getting some 19's for the summer with a stag'd set-up. I wanna get some professional pics taken when I get the stance done. I'll probably be turning this thread into my progress thread at some put but those of you who be chatting with me here and there basically know what I've done so far.

Looks really good. What DRL's and turn signals do you have? LED 9005's and switchbacks?

Thanks Ty!! It's actually the first for the "S" being low. I got a good deal on the teins from another member here. Plus I got a polished RV6 strut bar too in the mix.
No not yet. I am gonna try for today but it's raining here in NYC. Plus I gotta work late too tonight.

Pics of the strut bar please! And what's next?

I'll snap a pic of the bar a litte later for ya. Next up is new rims, finish up some more di-noc, Nissan maxima projectors in the fogs, ZKW-R's, an intake and tb spacer(which I'll have the spacer this week, from the same member I got the teins from). Then finish working on the audio/video. Then I'm done for a long time. I'm looking to get into a house with a nice size piece of land to it. Then I'm gonna be modding the house so I'll wind up being a truck as a DD.

tein ss are the bomb...if you're ok with not being on the ground. but for comfort and ease of use and quality. it's the way to go.
Great job, man...lookin very nice.
Your camber will likely be something like this front -1.2 and rear -2
that's what mine was initially...rode like that without issue as long as the TOE got straightened. You'll be alright. If you're anal like me, down the line grab a camber kit just to keep it close to factory spec.
also, spacer to bring the rear out a bit and give even the aspecs that "staggered" look
congrats...and send those pics to amp'd...some of the best pics of the red emblem i've seen! I friggin love that mod.

So with everything else he's done to the car and no mention of the emblem specifically that's the only comment you had. Wow...you must have a really lucky significant other...or you're single.

Don't get me wrong, I love everything about the car especially the non-type s front lip. I'm not hating, I'm just giving my opinion.

Strut bar is yummy! I love polished parts on WDP. Clean and classy
That's on my never ending "to-do list". When will it end??
What rotors are you running up front?

I get the brake package from HeelToe. Sport package 1 iirc, it came with these new Racingbrake rotors that are slotted and vented in the slots to act as drilled rotors too. It also came with Racingbrake pads for the front and rear, I only did the front though for now. Stainless Steel lines and honda brake fluid for the flush. I gotta tell you they are amazing the car stops much better then the oem pads and rotors and the pedal feel is way better too.

Thanks man!
