CSL spoiler --> CSL TRUNK (w.PIX)

I finally got the CSL Spoiler molded on to my trunk.

BTW I'm going to sell the car soon. Hence I'm thinking of putting the trunk on Black Market.

I'm loving the CSL molded trunk. I'm just curious how much it cost. Can you PM me with the price?

Great work! But can I make a comment? The edge seem a bit high. Should smooth it out more. I think you seen my CSL trunk before.

Looks good, but I think I like the before better than the molded version. I'd get one if I wasn't over modding my car.

I like the before version better. The side edges of the molded version don't line up very well...it almost looks like the trunk lid isn't closed all the way.

It's kind of hard to match it up. On my took some time and bondo to finish off the side. On his, its relatively a decent job but could test fit the trunk onto the car to prepped up the work. But yes its a hit or miss but still a good job on his trunk.

Here is the pic of my process: I hope the OP don't mind me posting it here

They had to look for either a Miata spoiler or a Chevrolet Cavalier spoiler to minic the CSL spoiler.
Here is my initial CSL Spoiler

After it was done, they make another piece to test fitted onto my spare trunk.

ME and lldknyll26 didn't ACTUALLY 100% mimic or copy it from the BMW CSL version. I'm not sure about lldknyll26's idea. But my first impression first came from there TL Concept back in 7 years ago. I really liked how they blended into the rear of the trunk. If you noticed, the TL concept rear is flare out a little. So they added that duck bill lip to compensate the rear.

PM KB1Spec ... regular or carbon fiber option I did!!! Next mods coming soon... CSL spoiler and Type-S blacked out head lights by: ACK05TL or JnC (all depends on time down available)

BTW, That looks AMAZING! Except the wheels... To SRT8 Dodge looking to me...Look to tall and has lifted the car for too much ground clearance from the look of the pic. But body and lines and that trunk, PURE SEXY! ...Why didn't they ever make a more aggressive design if they already had that one drawn up...at least toned down a lil from the concept, at minimal.

^^They did. The Type-S!!
I don't think I've ever seen that concept car. The lip is way bigger than the CSL. I also like how they placed the rearview camera. Beautiful.
Everything looks better molded. Witness RodneyC, Grape Jelly and theres an SSM in California (can't recall the guy's name) that are pure sex. Lotsa $$$ though.

Good work by KB1Spec, I recommend it! Price was pretty reasonable too, considering it's a custom mold and real CF.

That CONCEPT has always been my inspiration. Im currently playing with a csl design to match the roof spoiler. I even liked the wheels, but mine has an extra spoke.... and for those who are wondering, YES the CONCEPT was originally built with 21" wheels.
