Thanks for the quick response guys, I'm really trying to get an agressive offset and tire stretch when i do get these wheels. Im getting the fenders rolled and maybe a 215 width on the tires. My car is recently sitting on Megans and i just dont want to get the 18x9.75 and have the rub/hit against my struts and having to go get some spacers

New Pics

It was a nice February day in the Mid-Atlantic, so I took the opportunity to get some better pics.

I'm getting my fenders rolled and pulled on Friday to fix the rubbing. I need to put my roof spoiler back on!

Nice pics Dave, the rear looks almost exactly like mine except for the lights and spoiler. The tire threads from the rear are the same I think you have just convinced me to get a CSL spoiler

^^Suck it up and buy that guy's spoiler. At $300, its still cheaper than what I paid for mine + paint + install!! His is already painted, although I can't understand why you would paint the CF.

Thanks GP!

Is yours not the same spoiler? Is yours attached by 3M tape as well?

Mine is the fiberglass version. I had it professionally painted and mounted. They used a Window Weld type stuff to attach it. I spent way too much money on it to trust 3M tape!

No---I'm rolling the fenders to eliminate existing rub at the current height. Going lower may be in my future---but not right now.

I took mine to IAG Performance in Westminster MD. They specialize in Subarus. Check your area for performance/tuning shops or if you have a relationship with a body shop, check with them.

Wow, I'm surprised you are rubbing at such a modest ride height. Are you rubbing in turns while driving, or just when the wheels were turned all the way?

It was the very outer edges if the tires that would rub over bumps or dips in the road---mostly the rears. Since I've had them rolled and pulled, I can say no more rubbing.

It could have been from lack of neg camber..

dwb - glad it doesn't rub anymore, but whats your camber specs?

OEM camber---I'm not sure I want to go negative camber, as I want to be able to rotate my tires. Its my DD with a 40 mile one way commute.

Has anyone experienced vibrations? I had like 4 shops look at them so far including Honda and still no answer. Axles good, motor mount good, suspension good (What Honda said). I had them road balanced twice so it's not the wheels or tires I guess. It starts around 65+ and sort of gets worse when reg. accelerating. Anyone has a clue? Thanks!

^ What size and brand tires? My wheels are good after hitting many bumps. I run Nitto Invo tires up front and they are super awesome

I get minor vibration right around 65-70mph. It clears out above or below that speed. Goodyear Eagle GT.

225-40-18 and Falken Ziex 912 tires. Wow, that's a great idea getting some nice tires in the front like Nitto. And what do you mean they are good after hitting many bumps?

^ I had 912's on my previous rims. They were shaky at first but eventually got smooth. The Invo's I have now are just awesome!

I just had another shop check it out and they STILL don't know LMFAO. Every time it's my day off, I'm out driving around wasting $$ on gas and wasting more than half of my days trying to figure THIS BULLSHIT out for the past goddamn 2 weeks. I'm sick of, I really am. I'm literally about to stick a knife in these tires and burn them. That's how much this has made me upset. I have the shittiest luck with everything I do. They won't let me exchange them even though I never had these vibrations before I put these wheels on. Wheel force balancer says they are ok at multiple shops. Idk what do anymore.

I am NEVER buying Falkens again. They have the shittiest grip ever. They burn out almost every time i gun it from a stop without traction control.

Take a deep breath. I understand being pissed but take this as a learning experience. Anyway, I use the Hankook V12 EVO on my car. They have great grip and don't wear fast. Sorry to hear you've had such bad luck with those tires.

Here are some pictures of the flat black on WDP. However, these are +35 offset 18x8.75 on 235/40/18.

The 527s look awkward when its on stock-ride height cars.
