More 07-08 goodness.
On to some decent pics. Note that the following pic was taken before the mod directly above this/the last page.
My school. I'm one of uh 2,500 students there.
I'm done with my car for now. Hopefully this thread will be revived sometime.

Yes. Plenty of room around here. Haha I love how I live down the road from stereotypical Indiana, yet 5 miles from being in Indianapolis. Brownsburg, IN. 33rd best place to live in the United States. http://money.cnn.com/magazines/money...PL1808416.html

Here's a pic from Sunday. Love this time of year.
Thanks man. I wouldn't mind different wheels (I'd only do A-Specs most if I did) but really, I love the car the way it is. Who knows. Maybe if I save some more money..but by that time I'd probably already be looking at new cars.

DID NOT need to know the state of Granny's hooha, but okay
Hmm, I'm guessing lighted footwells?
Props again for having the balls to take apart your car. It always results in some nice pics
Psst. Drop that bish. I know, it's a hell of a lot easier said than done, but it would bring your car to a whole new level.

I couldn't deal with the dangling coiled cord from my Valentine One. So I didn't even use it until I hardwired it.
Thought about making this a DIY but I quickly realized my iPhone does indeed take nice pics, but not when you're in an awkward upside down position under your steering wheel. So here are just a few pics. I did pretty much the exact thing that this guy did, who has an awesome DIY on his blog. http://kadakia.com/2008/02/valentine...07-acura-tl-s/
I decided to wire it into the fuse box rather than tapping into the sunroof controls like many people do for reasons that I'll get to in just a second. Airbag cover removal...rather uhh suspenseful to say the least. Airbags are scary.
Wire spliced and fitted into fuse slot 24. Slot 24 is the fuse for the rear passenger window. This is an awesome fuse because A) its switched, obviously. B) power to it can be turned on and off via the window lock switch.
Still playing with location a bit. Might put it a little higher, but even now its not obstructing my view.
Vid of the install in action.

Edit: Guess Azine doesn't want to embed that? http://vimeo.com/18182570
Thank you. I like taking the interior apart...so easy. If I were to drop my car, I'd certainly have it done by a professional. I've debated whether or not I want to lower it countless times. But I like the smooth ride of the stock suspension and Indiana winters aren't too fun. I've plowed through snow as high as my lower grilles many times. I can't imagine how the car would do if it were even lower. Not to mention I spend a fair amount of time in Michigan at my moms house (like right now) and the snow here is ridiculous.
Ding ding.

^Thank you. I really don't "speed" all that much in all honesty. 5 over most of the time at most. On the highway it'll be great though. Knowing me, I'd probably be the one to get pulled over for doing 79 in a 70 or something. As mentioned, my mom lives in Michigan so I travel 600 miles round trip at least once a month. I'm anxious to drive home later this week with the V1.

Meh. No clue. Valve adjustment and 3x3 tranny flush soon. 105K service sometime in the spring most likely. All that will be $1K+.
I've kinda been looking into getting my exhaust tips extended to be flush with the rear A-Spec like many other members have had done.
Pungtang!
Haha I've only driven a whopping three miles with it installed in my car. Being on vacation is great.
[IMG][/IMG]
Haha that was 300 highway miles and then 10 or so city miles that averaged at that. I get about 30MPG on the highway. In my town (zero highway driving) I average 18MPG. Woo.
Haha really? Baller. It's so convenient and stealth.

Yup. Definitely get the LI next and put the V1 behind the tint strip and then you can be like me haha. I also probably speed quite a bit more than you so I need it more. It was a bad thing for me to look at this thread because now I feel like I have to order an A-Spec kit for my TL.

Thanks!
Haha I love it so far too even though I've barely driven with it. My car has been sitting out front for days now.
I'm going to move it up a bit higher on the windshield. And LI...that'd be baller.
I try my best to not speed too much.
The A-Spec kit transforms the entire look of the TL, I say go for it. By far the best mod you can do.
Hahaha yessir. I myself have grown up being around Lake MI. It freezes up near the shoreline in winter.

nice update! congrats on the V1. I got hit with a speeding ticket recently, it would have come in handy then. pretty nice install. slick with the on-off trigger switch. i like it.
i guess i know what i'll be getting myself for my B-day present. im even brainstorming ideas to stealth mount it, along with the remote display. let us know how you like it

The V1 will look better in your interior (Type-S) than my all-blue interior. I say go for it! Another thing to make your TL ballin.
