Damn yall have a ballin ass driveway!
I'm glad to hear that you're considering getting a custom plate. Either one of the options you listed would be great. I've got UA6FTMFW. It's hilarious sitting a red right and looking in the rearview mirror to see people trying to figure it out. I've had 4 or 5 cars get behind me, notice it, laugh, tell the other people in their car what it means, and take a picture

Update time. Remember those bulbs I was talking about in my original post? The ones that started blowing like a whore one day? Well I got my package from Delray Acura today...
Started at 5 and finished at 9. I know why they charge an arm and a leg to do this at the dealer now. Time consuming. Not too bad though.
All in working order again. Taken on my iPhone 4...not the best.

Damn, a 4 hour job?
Was replacing the bulbs easy?
As in direct swap out, and no soldering?
I need to replace a few on my steering wheel, the hazard button, and the heated seat "illuminators".

Why thank you.
Yeah it took me a long ass time. Mostly because it was my first time taking all of that apart and I took my time since I didn't want to mess anything up. Removing the old bulbs is case- you just unscrew them and then they pop out. Stick the new one in and screw it in. No soldering for this.
The steering wheel would be tricky as you'll have to take out the airbag I think. And GOOD LUCK taking out the heated seat switch to get to those bulbs. Christ. That was a pain.

Update. Just some minor changes.
Remastered the grille. Cut out the indent part just to add some contrast. This was literally an idea I thought of real quick and then it was done 5 minutes later. Turned out dece.
Here's just a pic I took of the TL in her parking space after I spent 6 hours cleaning my garage last weekend. Ick.
Random shot of fog one morning on the way to school. My neighborhood is out in cornfields basically (stereotypical Indiana) and random fog rolls in all the time. Pretty though.
And then my key fob. I painted it white. Added a strip of Di-Noc to cover the seam and boom. One of a kind fob.
Thanks for lookin guys.
Mods: title change to "cjTL's Advancement Thread. Update: Page 2." please! Thank you.

Also forgot to ask, how did you manage to di-noc the upper vent? I remember in one of your other threads you mentioned the cf wouldn't stick on. Your solution? Haha and noob question here.. How did you remove the upper vent?

Well almost. I wouldn't ever be able to do the wiring involved for that mod.
Thank you! And haha yeah you and everyone else who's seen it in person.
Thanks Steven! Could you change the title of this thread for me? "cjTL's Advancement Thread. Update: Page 2."

Can I get a drum roll for my newest "mod"? POTHOLES SUCK!
Walked out to my car this morning and my back right tire was flat. Awesome. Put some fix-a-flat in it and got it to 22PSI. Drove it to the only open tire shop since its labor day and they showed me that mess. To the upper left of the crack is a huge chunk of rubber missing. New rim and tire will be needed. Couple hundred $$.
Suck.

For realz, pot hole sucks. A buddy of mine always says, "When pothole appears; proceed slowly and with caution."

Ouch Craig, sorry to see what happened to the wheel. Usually I would suggest to go ahead and get another set of wheels but the stockies look great on your ride. Replace it and get back on the road

Right here. http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield/...ns-shields.php
Best thing ever.
Thanks!
Thanks Tyler. I thought about A-Specs for 2.5 seconds but then again I like the way the stockies look on my car and getting all new wheels and tires would be a $1000+ easy. I don't even have that much in my bank account. lol.

Thrilled.
Well my dad is awesome pretty much. Today, one day after all this shit went down, I have a new rim and tire on the car. He called Ed Martin Acura, got off work to get the wheel. Called Tire Barn, got the same tire that was on my car before. Went to the local Midas that his friend owns, mounted the tire. I stopped by after school, they put the new rim and tire on, aligned and balanced all four wheels and I was out an hour later.
Rim- $325.
Tire- $180.
Installation/Alignment- $100.
Total: $605.
I only have to pay $150. My dad=father of the year. I was expecting to be dead broke. I'll post pics of the crack and rubber gouge later this evening. I haven't taken the wheel out of my trunk yet.

I didn't ask my dad if he could get a cheaper price. I doubt they would've budged. I can't complain though if I only have to pay a portion of it.
And Tyler- Yeah no kidding. My dealership is a half hour from here on the north side of Indy...go there for oil changes, etc but no discount. Free brochures and coffee in the lounge. Hell I'll be there on Friday afternoon for some $49 service special they have going on. Great friendly people there though. Always compliment and respect the car.

My dealership is 10 minutes away from my house and those bastards never say shit about my car. Plus they are stupid and tried to tell another AZ member and I that Acura didn't make a 6-speed TL in 2005.

I spy a crack...
The guy said he'd never seen a chunk like that torn out of a tire. He thinks I might have ran over a piece of metal. Who knows. Bummer since that tire was only a year old. Couldn't be salvaged though. It dropped 15PSI just sitting in my garage overnight last night.
The new rim makes the other three look like shit. I need to clean them real good.

Damn that crack was pretty nasty Craig! I'm glad you got it taken care of.
I'm glad you decided to pull the trigger on those tails. And yes that's what I'm guessing that you ordered

Hmm, I'm gonna say tails and sidemarkers as well.
And if you still are considering it, I'd go with white painted wheels over gunmetal.
Powdercoated white TL wheels + drop = massive sex.

Congrats man. I need to make a drive up to Indiana and have meet with you. I recently got quotes and stuff to get the whole front end repainted because the paint is cracking. 1600 buck. Really sucks.
