chinkwapin's new project (M Content)

Hey guys, most of you know my TL but i'm basically done with it (i.e. ran out of things that i'd want to do with it). Here is a pic of it at its prime:

I sold the varrstoens so im currently rolling on stock wheels and a higher ride height, it makes a great daily driver. But i cannot stand not having a project to work on, so what better platform than this:

Coilovers coming this month, and some other goodies.. stay tuned

Nnnoooo! Your car was one of the best looking TL's on AZ IMO. Nice find on the M though!

OMGGGGGG I love the E30. I've always always wanted one of those as a project car. I came close once but couldn't make a deal

The fact that you have an M is even more amazing. They're so rare...I don't think I've ever seen one in person in this area. This'll be fun to watch!

if i had paid for this car i would be totally open with the price.. unfortunately i inherited this due to the loss of a close family member, so it is priceless to me.

on the forum i am active in, they call it a 15k rule. if you spend less than 15k on buying one of these, it will take the difference to make it 15k to get it running properly. this means if you buy one priced at 8k you can pretty much count on spending 7k more just to make it a reliable/running daily driver. in some circumstances can be much more than that.

bear in mind - good condition, low milage, rebuilt (or pristine original) engine/interior cars can go for 25-30k easy

with that said, this one has just over 73,500 on the clock and original paint.. always garaged and no its not for sale

nah man, no worries. it was a completely valid question. yeah no problem! the price has nowhere to go but up so if you're seriously looking into one, the sooner the better

Wow, quite a story. Sorry to hear about losing a family member but at least their prized possession is in good hands

That's a gorgeous E30 and I'm sure it'll stay that way since the TL was gorgeous too. Enjoy it

BEAUTIFUL. Under the circumstances, I'm sorry you had to inherit the car, but I'm sure you will take just as amazing care of it as the previous owner did.

I am also the owner of an E30 chassis, non M. Check my sig for pics. This is a beautiful, non absued E30 M3, the dream car of myself and so many!

friggen sweet M3 man. So jelly. A friend and I are contemplating splitting the cost of one for building up and racing. (not an M, but like a 325is or something). I'm a particular fan of vintage cars myself (see sig).

im excited for the M's future as well! hopefully i didn't steer anyone the wrong way, im not unmodding/parting out my car anytime soon. that was my initial intention, but all it needs is a nice set of wheels. the TL will be back in the game eventually

the link in your sig didn't work for me but its nice to see a fellow E30 owner over here!

chances are it won't be anything like the TL. i went for form>function with the TL and experimented with stance, stretched tires, camber, moar low, etc. the M3 is definitely a drivers car and I intend to keep it that way. with that said, the M3 doesnt need much to look amazing, its a stunner all on its own. thanks for the compliment!

^listen to this guy he knows what hes talking about, definitely NOT an e36!

e30s (M or not) make great track cars and a non M is really affordable. i hope you find what you're looking for, and nice collection of cars in that sig =]
