Thanks for the shout out Jeremy....
what weight class are you in now?
if you have to pick what to remove, i would remove weight uptop (sunroof, etc) and then move to the bottom....
have you checked out the new HT chassis Brace?
this will add around 25odd pounds very close to the ground and will give you an opportunity to remove weight up-top.....also will make the handling of the car sooo nice....I am really considering it....

Here are the classifications:
Showroom Stock Class:
Improved Class:
I01: Improved Automobiles (All 4 Cylinder, and All 6 Cylinder, up to 2399cc)
I02: Improved Automobiles (All 6 Cylinder above, 2400cc All Turbo/Supercharged 4 Cylinder; All Turbo/Supercharged 6 cylinder)
Modified Class:
M01: Modified Automobiles (All 4 Cylinder, and All 6 Cylinder, up to 2399cc)
M02: Modified Automobiles (All 6 Cylinder above, 2400cc All Turbo/Supercharged 4 Cylinder; All Turbo/Supercharged 6 cylinder)
Non-Porsche Class:
X3 >3.5 Liter
X2 2.0 – 3.5 Liter
X1 < 2.1 Liter
Improved Class:. The improved category is for street vehicles with modifications beyond those allowed in the Production Category. The modifications are limited but much more liberal than those in the Showroom Stock or Production Categories.
Modified Class: The M classes shall also include factory racecars, GT cars and the like.
SS cars shall be bumped up within SS to make a class, if no SS class can be completed, the vehicle will be moved into the corresponding “P” Class and bumped from there.
The X classes shall serve as a guide, final X classes will be assigned by Tech at each event.
Rotary (Rtry), Supercharged/Turbocharged (S/Tchg) cars in X classes are bumped up.
All cars will be bumped up as many classes as required to make a complete class, min, two cars/class.
The bump progression shall be from SS to P, P to M (lower number class to higher).
Novices shall include all drivers that have participated in less than three autocrosses within three years and have not “trophied”.
MODIFICATIONS TO CARS IN SS CLASS
None Permitted: The vehicle shall be as delivered from the factory, including wheels and tires. Tires with a tread wear rating of less than 140 shall place a car into P class. Non-performance affecting cosmetic changes may be permitted at the discretion of the Autocross Chairman, Tech Chairman and the Autocross Committee.
MODIFICATIONS TO CARS IN P, I AND M CLASSES
Suspension: Aftermarket shocks, struts, bushings, sway bars, springs and torsion bars are allowed in P classes. However, stock mounting points are required. No machining. (P)Shock Absorbers: Any shock absorber may be used provided it has no more than a single adjustment.
Exhaust: The addition of a performance exhaust is permitted in P classes. However, all cars must pass noise restrictions for the event to compete. All Metro events are muffled events, the Chairman reserves the right to reject or disqualify any noisy vehicle.
Lightening: The removal, exchange or replacement of any part for the purpose of lightening a car will put a car into modified class. This includes the removal of rear passenger seats; however, the removal of the rear seats for the installation of a cage or roll bar will not be considered lightening. Improved class cars are allowed limited weight reduction, however, they need to retain all required road equipment in order to be street legal. Example: headlights, brake lights, passenger seat.
Wheels and Tires: All DOT approved tires are allowed in (P&I) Production & Improved classes, and must have tread visible at two spots 180 degrees apart at the end of an event. Competition tires must have visible tread depth indicators. All non-DOT approved tires put a car into (M) modified class. At no time may a tire with visible belts showing be allowed to run in any class. Cars with rubbing tires will not be permitted to run during an event. Modifications beyond ‘rolling’ the fender lip to accommodate larger wheels and tires will put a car into modified class.
(Production) Increased Rim Width: Rim width may be increased up to 1.0” over the widest rim available from the factory.
(Production) Wheels: All wheels must be the same diameter as available from the factory for the model range of the automobile.
(Improved) Wheels: Any diameter wheel can be used. Wheel width may be increased up to 2.0” over the widest rim available from the factory.
Engines: Modifications between the exhaust manifold and airbox will place a car into improved. Increase of boost pressure via mechanical (spring or modification to turbo unit) or electronic (chip) methods will place a car into improved. Engine swaps are permitted in improved provided the engine and transmission installed are Porsche based.
Transmission/Differential: Modification to the gearing/gear ratios of the transmission and/or differential will place a car into improved class. Production class cars can run a limited slip differential provided it is a factory unit. Aftermarket LSD units place a car into improved.

Reserecting this thread from the dead. Need an opinion. Im painting the stock rims anthracite gray on Monday. While Im at it Im going to repaint the front grill and I'd like to paint the rear acura emblem and the silver lip piece below the acura logo on the trunk. Should I repaint them to anthracite or paint them black?

I say black just to have a little contrast. Sometimes too much matching is not a good thing.
