You are correct, I had a local exhaust guy in SLC cut the old tips off and he had to remove the black garnish part as well. The tips aren't staggered so the inside one sits in a little deeper but all in all I like the look. He also had to trim the length down as well becuz these were made for a Camaro/Mustang and they stuck out way too far.

Rear main seal leak is crazy! I think we talked before and you have the same one from the oil pump I had right? I did the top it off solution for over a year but then it started getting a lot worse

i would've tried to use Barr's stop leak or the top off method but it came out of nowhere and it was quite a bit of oil on the garage floor. My pops is flying out from Ohio to drive the TL back to his house and I'm picking it up on the way to Michigan. I didn't want him driving 1300 miles with it jacked like that. Honestly if i can't find a decent 4wd truck or AWD car in Michigan I'm probably going to sell it and pick up a B8 Audi A4 Avant or Sedan. Might be headed back to the Quattro world

Hahaha you sound like my wife!! She loathes my idea, but that's normal. I have all my lights flickering now, going to check the alternator and see if it's crapping out. The battery has been dying on and off lately but I thought it might be the HFL sucking the battery juice out. Time will tell what my final idea will be. Heck I still have the idea of getting a 1st Gen RDX which is turbo and AWD

So after a disastrous experience at Jody Wilkerson Acura in SLC the TL is finely back to normal running status. The TL is sitting quietly in my dad's driveway back in Ohio. I've been out of commission due to my training down here in Texas. Looks like I have some catching up to do.

Annndddd I'm Back!!
So after a very long hiatus I have returned!! Went to technical training for 8 weeks in Texas, packed up in Utah, moved to Michigan, on leave for almost a month, and now I'm a month later in to my new job.
The best news is that I fixed my flickering light and crazy electrical issue on the TL. The ground was connected to the aluminum part of the CAI not creating a perfect ground. Running like a champ and no issues!! Switched out the old ballasts and bulbs last week, also shampooed the interior carpet. Been waiting impatiently to get my Endless seat covers. I'll post a few pics of the TL next to Lake Michigan later.

Looks good, buddy. I like the quads, color scheme, and ride height.
Not sure I can go that low again with ride quality, long-term tire wear, and always having to cater to the road to avoid bottoming out. You're making me rethink it though!

I wish I could go lower!! Hahahhaha in reality the Tein Basis doesn't take away from ride quality at all. The roads here aren't bad as I thought they would be but being that low you do tend to be away of where the pot holes are. Thanks for compliments

I finally got the Endless RPM Clazzio seat covers last Friday. I took the weekend to get them installed. 1st impression was they look awesome and the quality is top notch! The install was tough because it was such a tight fit. The wife helped me out and I have no clue how this could be a man job. I love the way they look and smell! It was such a treat looking in the TL and not seeing ripped up seats. The seats have transformed the entire interior look of the TL, made me fall in love all over again. I'll post some pictures tomorrow when I get a chance. If you're looking for a seat replacement and don't want to spend 1K or go cheap these covers are a perfect alternative. Thanks to the Endless RPM crew

Finally finally got around to snapping some pics of the new Endless RPM seat covers. They are sooooo awesome!! The difference In color between the seats and seat belts is a tad annoying but overall I love it. Yes yes yes I know the lugs don't
match the calipers but that will be addressed this saturday.

- Considering the Quad Tip OBX on a Stock TL Aspec
- Yep, different tips than what you have (we have those as well), but considering the OBX quad
- I looked back at like page 3 and 4 when you did the exhaust and came close to posting the close-up.
Great job on the ride by the way.
Greatly appreciated!

Winter is still here!!
Guys and Gals, I’ve been beyond busy with the Recruiting job! 7 months into the job and I’m doing well but it is a 24/7 job. You have to be all in to include the community help. I have garaged the TL for most of the winter. I’ve brought it out a few times after the snow had melted. Absence does make the heart grow fonder!! Here is a few pics, also have a few doll hairs to spend once I get taxes back. Going to fix my drivers side mirror (broke it coming out of the garage) re-do calipers again, find a good front lip tonout on this puppy as I feel I’ll never get to the A Spec kit

Gonna pop in and ask a quick question:
How did you get the rear seat covers on. I got the bottom bench, haven't started on the back part...
Def. Liking the car overall though.
