Burtch07's CGP Build

Thanks Steve and thank you!! Going to powder coat the cover CGP. I'm selling my stock wheels and will hit you up for the rest of the intake manifold, plan on powdercoating it red. The wheels are dipped, I pretty sure I'm going to rip it off and take em to the local shop here and have them powdercoat em a satin red. Going with the red and CGP theme. Got some new rubber on order then I need to address brakes. Trying to figure out what to get that's quality but won't break the bank. If you could lose that I take manifold In The garage I'll grab it from you here real soon.

it does pop a lot!! I'm going thru as many colours as I can because when I finally pull the trigger on the permanent color I want to say I'm fully in love with them. The Sig color was gunmetal and how they came from the factory. PM me the manifold price and once I get the dough I'll friend you over the coin for it

Out with the old in with the new. So I am on my
2nd RF Punch P2 12" sub, blown both within a few months of each other. I feel as if it's poor quality, I never turn the volume up above 24. A few times I've went to 30 becuz my jam came on but that was literally once or twice. So I ran to the local stereo store to see what deals they had going on. Picked up a Pioneer on sale for 70.00 Marked down from 120.00....Heres hoping it lasts longer than the P2's did
Baby doll comes free, and the TP is for emergency poops

Unfortunately for me I only get to put those slots on my list as 1 & 2, the Air Force decides which if any I get. Franky I love the color, it reminds me more of an Aircraft grey. Think F22, F35, F15, & F16 grey. I love it!! So how do you like them compared to other wheels you've owned?? Finally putting in the SPC rear camber kit, don't want my new rubber getting worn over fast

Also the wife allotted me a G from taxes for my car addiction. At first I was thinking new seat covers and powder coating the wheels but then that Type S Aspec Lip kit keeps haunting me. I'm confused, what scares me is that the kit is low stocked and eventually it won't be available

Yeah, that's been happening, the kit hasn't been produced for some time, so finding "new" kits are hard, let alone in the color you need, at this point you might be able to find them still in obscure dealerships that still have them stocked, or catch them from guys parting out. If you do find a new kit, or even used, chances are you'll have to paint it to match. But, i finally sprung for the A-spec last year and glad I moved on it when i did. Good luck!

Man, i tore up quite a bit of ball joint boots with that ball joint separator, i use a pitman arm puller instead - worked wonders for me on ball joints.
With a burn like that I wonder if there was any moisture got inside the bulb housing?

I got everything all back together no problem, minus the castle nut on the passenger side. That dum thing keeps spinning around, I got it to go on a little bit but not even close to where I need to add the cotter pin. I'll scourer youtube for some tips and tricks. As for the light it 's been flickering for weeks now and just getting substantially worse. No worries because I got the bulbs switched out, I'm just glad it wasn't the ballast.

I read extensively on this process and that was the only thing i cared about haha. I kept it but for some reason once it got tightened to a certain point it just spins. If i can get an air ratchet in there it should work. Its just like the top bolt on coilovers, just spins if not enough pressure and power.

No thats different. You're supposed to load the suspension every time you torque down on suspension components. While on jack stands, you put the jack under the knuckle, jack it up until that side is loaded (wheel hub elevated like 5 inches), then torque everything down. You having things spinning loose sounds like you're not locking it down under load which is very bad.

I decided to have the kids and I wash the car and zoom out to Antelope Island on the Great Salt Lake. I snapped a bunch of pictures and these are the only one's that made the cut. I don't own any type of photo shop so there was no editing and or filter done. I did use the black and white on one and the process adjust on another. All in all i think they came out good, and as of this post the red dip on the wheels will be ripped off tomorrow. The dip did what i wanted it to, on to the next color....any suggestions??

Pictures are clean man! I like the red on the wheels, however if you're going to switch it up, maybe a gold or bronze, but hey I'm biased on wheels color always got to have some gold/bronze hue going on lol

Weather was outstanding here in Utah, I went ahead and got busy. Peeled the red off and re dipped in Bronze. Painted calipers red and put Acura overlays on top. Had some other engine enhancements ready to go but I have to reattack that issue.
Got to do the rear tomorrow after church. This is by far the best color besides the original gunmetal.

Butch, read through your whole thread and I either missed it or you never posted any more detailed shots of your exhaust tip setup and the specs on the tips.
From what I can tell your removed the black plastic portion around the tip outlet and spaced the tips outwards a bit more. Are the tip 3.5" in diameter? That's what I'm hoping to do on my base bumper as well.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
