Bronze painted stockies/painted calipers on NBP

Stockies painted bronze using duplicolor wheel paint. calipers painted red using g2 paint. i know, i know...these aren't volks or works but this is the best I can do on my budget haha
big upgrade for me from the chrome "american racing" wheels that came with the car.

i haven't added the vinyl acura caliper stickers yet but they should be arriving soon. thanks to oarichard btw for selling me his stockies.

Looks much better compared to the ones that the car came with

I think I would have done the calipers black, the red looks out of place with the black and bronze, but that's just my . Still an upgrade from the original.

Love the Bronze/Black combo. My WRX had this theme and I always got complimented. Good job!

Now just drop that thing!

Red cals on a NBP TL look hot. It brings out the tails and sidemarkers.

I like the color of the wheels but the brakes kind of don't go with the color combo of bronze/black. I would have done brakes in black. but still good job man

on painting the calipers black

imo if you do not have a BBK you should not be drawing attention to your calipers. I like the painted look but they need to blend with the car. Mine are painted to match my car but have a tiny tiny bit of sparkle in them. I think the red might be too much.

I love the wheel color tho, it goes nicely with your NBP
now you just need a drop

Oh and it would look SICK if you painted the A on the center cap of the rim black, just an idea

Nice job painting, but I'm not feeling the wheel color so much. But thats just me... Maybe a brighter shade of bronze would work better. To me, they look like they're just coated with brake dust and just need to be cleaned.

How are you like the Eagle GT's?? I'm thinking about getting those tires.

haha yeah, the bronze is a bit light. i think it may have been because of the wheel primer which was a bit of greenish gray. The Eagle GTs seem pretty quiet compared to the OE MXM4 tires. So far so good. A bit of road vibration due to not getting the wheels balanced. Should I balance the wheels again even though wheel weights have been added on from the previous owner already?

Not sure about the red brakes but the new wheel color has potential....u should paint the Acure emblem on center cap black for the contrast.
