Bought My TL...pics + other toys

Thanks for your guys/gals help with my questions. I bought the TL...Pearl White Navi with 25K miles. 30K OTD plus $1300 for extended warranty...good for 7yrs, 100,000 miles. I love the voice command. Especially the "Clock", "Time" or "What Time Is It?" commands, they really impress everybody!! Here some pics of my other toys.

Thanks guys.

Blackbird...if it's the bike I'm thinking of and 999cc...then yes...probably too much for a beginner. But it really all depends on your learning curve, and yourself. If you are smart you can ride any bike. But if you're reckless...then a 50cc will hurt you.

Can't wait to mod the TL...probably over the summer...too cold in Chicago to start now.

Hahah...I'm Piotr....but to my Americans I'm Pete or Peter. Actually I got my name changed a few year back (for Social Security reasons) to Peter.

black bird is the 1100xx not 999 and would suck as a first bike because its heavy and is pretty much a touring bike. if your looking for a nice sport bike for a beginner the a 600 is the most you want to go with. they may not have the torque of a liter bike (1000cc's) but newer ones still run 10 second 1/4 miles. as long as you are responsible and ride within your limits then any bike would be fine.. on the other hand, if you were a irresponsible kid that just wants show off with the latest and greatest then i wish you luck.. cause you will need it. remember.. with crotch rockets its not if you crash, its when you crash and when you do (i've gone down twice) you better be wearing your gear cause you will need it!

Yeah TL303 has a good point I seen many beginners flip there liter bikes, they thought it be cool to dump their clutch into gear at 8k. A good 600 be fun enough. Good luck Nandito. Hey Pete do you every come up to blackhawk to race???

I bought the race bike near the end of summer...my plans are to take Learning Curves at Road America or Blackhawk, and hopefully race a couple time, or at least a bunch of track days this summer. I've only been to Blackhawk to watch CCS, but haven't ridden it yet. I can't wait!! You race??

Learning Curves is great !!!! you'll learn alot maybe I'll see you at Elkhart lake (RA) or Blackhawk, till then enjoy the car and bikes and keep the rubber side down unless your practicing your unicycle skills.

lol, i wouldnt ride a bike on the street just because of all the shitty drivers, when i was younger i saw 3 crashes:
1. a guy died on impact running into a parked van
2. i saw a guy lying on the ground right in the school parking lot (elementary school-kinda wierd he was prolly 20) with his head split almost in half still alive....
3. i saw a chick get her leg right leg get nearly ripped off at her shin. Her leg got caught between the rear tire and the bike. when she finally got her leg out, it was hanging on by a thread of skin.

that stuff has pretty much scared me away of bikes
