the shine aint easy... i wash it atleast once a week, and wax or polish at least once a month.... everybody keeps telling me i am gonna wash the paint right off the car. lol

 

looks so hot, I like the simplicity of the wheels and whole black theme, but the resemblence to AMG wheels stops me from Loving them.

Why not just black out the "V" shaped grille trim and hood trim?
That would look sweet.

thank you ron. yea all the ASA wheels are amg knock offs.... i like the simplicity factor of them and all my rims have always been a five star. i was originally gonna get the inspyres.. but went for these..... i cant keep a set for more than a year, and these are coming up on a year..... we'll see...

does everybody think a black grille would look better??

i waxed it about 2 hours before i took those pics.. and trust me, it could be cleaner..... swirl marks and imperfections are SO noticeable on NBP... it sucks

 

but you don't get that much of a shine on WDP, SSM, OR ASM ;]

when my girl was looking at the pics.. she said to me... my car is TOO shiny. when it comes to photography, thats not a good thing. i think you get better pics of other colors.... because less of the surroundings reflect off the car, which take away from the TL's beauty lol

 

what about my headlights?? anybody notice that i painted the silver ring around the projector black... it was actually by mistake. when i was doing my lights, it was like 4AM when it came time to paint, and i completely forgot to remove the ring....

when i did brians, it came out real nice

1) what tint percentage is that and is your windshield tinted?
2) do cops ever give you problems for your tint and tail lights?

looking to do some work, performance and body, to my 06 anthracite, any suggestions? after seeing what you've done to your car, your opinion really matters

 

another question....

my rims have suffered some semi-severe curb rash and was looking to get them fixed...being that you live on long island, maybe you know a place around there that fixes rims? i'm from the city but am back and forth through long island pretty much everyday...

 

the grille would look good in black but i think the chrome balances out with the wheels so it looks hot as is

 

I am so digging your car. I think the wheels look great! NBP the grille. I noticed now everyone is talking about the rear license plate detail. I've had mine done since December and only 1 person has realized what I did. I've got one more mod to the rear coming before the next car show. Great photography and AWESOME car!

tints are 10%. i never had a problem until last month. i was pulled over THREE times for my tints, and all three times, the cops let me go =)

as for the wheels? there is Al's Hubcaps in Mineola, he fixes dents, bends, really well. i dont know about curb rash though.... you would have to check

 

damn, you're lucky...what is the legal percent in NY? 35%? i think i've seen Al's Hubcaps before so i'll check that out and see what i can do....but i was wondering if you had any suggestions on what kind of work to do to my car...i don't really have pictures up but i think i'm going to take some tonight and then i'll upload them and maybe you can help me out...

your ride has always been one of my favorites. not being a smoker i have never had the need for the visors but i have alwas felt that they actually set your ride apart.. keep up the good work..

I guess it looks a little more "cleaner" and adds more detail?(for lack of a better word) but i think the headlights flow nicely with the rest of the car and i guess it's unique? haha

haha oh and regarding your guy's photoshoot..im gonna be up in LI alot this summer (family/hometown/business) soo yeah holler at me..we'll do a threesome...photoshoot that is. And it's ok, ill be the car furthest away since my car isn't at your TL's level yet

Oh, Blackura, I forgot to ask..I see we both have the same rockblocker tints, have you gotten pulled over for them? Just wondering if I should leave them on in VA because i dont know if theyre illegal. I might have to customize the tails then!

wow how the heck did u get away? what town was it? In my previous car I got pulled over in Garden City because of my exhaust...i wasn't even revving it up I was just at cruising speeds...doing 25 on a 30 and he decided to give me a "Fix it" ticket...
