BLACKURA's finale.... (20+ pics)
Ok guys, I officially think i am DONE with cosmetic mods.. so here is the finished product... (i guess BBK counts as cosmetic, so ill post pics when i do it in July)
i would really like a custom grille.. but just cant seem to make my mind up about it. might just go with the 07 TL-S black-chrome grille...
All feedback (good or bad) is appreciated.
from here on in... all future mods will be strictly performance related... gotta get the first 5AT to put down over 300+ whp.

Think it looks very nice, can't decide whether i like the black up tails and side markers, think you might need a little more contrast....
Only i don't like are the plastic window gutters, doesn't look as sleak draws to much attention to the wrong parts of your ride....
I am diggin it overall though

Ah ha,,,
Yeah that would def, make more sense....
I smoke too, just not in the TL..
Man, i miss Long Island used to love to go out there when i lived in Jersey....
Don't miss the L.I.E. though..... used to love Suffolk County lot a good times
As long as you like the gutters, that is what is important..
VERY nice overall, what rims are you running? never seen those before

thats friggin hot! i dont liek the wheels though but everything esle is sik. i kinda even like the rain guards, it works on a blacked out car.
I would change the wheels and get some black rims and get ur grill painted black as well. then it would truly complete the theme.
nice shots by the way, and good shine on that black, i know how hard it is to get and keep a good shine on black.

Also, think a rear decklid spoiler would look REAL nice....
The other thing that stands out is that the front side markers are grey are the rear sides are tinted.. Think it would look real nice if they both matched, and it wouldn't make the entire rear end look a bunch of different shades of black between the paint, the tinted lenses and the tinted windows
OH,, also chrome trim above the liscense plate on the back instead of flat grey would look REALLY hot too..
Just my 2 cents though

Dam your car is looking shiny!! What are you using to wax your car?
Looking awesome and can't wait to see your BBK on there. I am planning to run my front breaks out a bit more then purchase the BBK. It is going to look hot with your set up.

She's A perty one!
I really like that wheel design, your car looks great I wish that wheel came with a bright silver painted center with the lip chrome like yours The 100% chrome looks too aggressive on my ASM TL-S. It overpowers the color. But looks very good on black
Kind of an AMG style wheel

in that picture ... this is kinda a dumb question, but i was just wondering how you drove through that muddy water and didnt get any splatter on the side of ur car ... i hate it when i just wash the car and then i have to drive through dirty water on the road and u get splatter all over the side

The car looks awesome!! Like a couple of others, I'm not a fan of the rain guards, but you do have a purpose. As for the wheels, there's nothing like a set of nice chrome wheels on a black car...very classy!
As for how he got there with no splatter...I'm going to go with he backed in...no muddy water to the right (and no tire marks to the left).

lol @ somebody's driveway pic....was it one of those get-out-of-the-car-and-take-a-quick-picture-before-the-cops-get-called kind of picture?
just curious, how hot does your car get when it's warm out (interior and exterior)? ...it's so....black....i bet your wheels are the coolest thing on the car, even after it's been driven...
sweet ride though, man...i'll probably do as much as you have, or more, when i get my 4G TL...for now, it's just mostly performance bolt-ons...

Heavy HUH? How much do they weigh? That is so important.

hahah funniest post in this thread thus far.
I personally like how the rain guards look on the TL. They're quite sleek.
BLackura, if/when you go boosted, go get the gloss black TE37. Those would look so hot on your car.

LOL hot ride i like it a lot ~ those rims seem pretty heavy tho, are you sure you're bent on performance mods next? i mean, design and styling don't go hand in hand with performance...i.e. things like your rims would just be a roadblock for better performance etc etc...iono, seems like you're making it harder for yourself. ~ but other than that...this is HOT...
LOL i can't decide if your pics are near Pt. Washington, or is it like near Fort Totten around the QBB?
other than that, VERY nice pics ~ i'd like to see your car in person one of these days
