Unless the dealership is paying you a lot, I would get rid of that front plate. Your car has a brilliant shine.

How long should claying take? It took me about 1 hour to clay the car... Maybe I"m taking too much time.

It's always been the law to have front plates. About being heavily enforced, well I guess it would depend on the car (ie. rice rocket) and the cop to decide.

Yeah your right, but it just something that came into my attention after looking in the paper last week. I drove w/o front plates for 4 years in the Max and never got pulled over except for speeding tickets. Im just concerned.. things can change, you see traffic signal cameras all over the place now.

Wow, that looks great! I have anthracite and did a dawn wash, meguiars clay bar (took about 30 minutes), Z7 Wash, then Z-2 3 times with z6 in between. Mine doesn't look as deep as yours.....oh well. Maybe a few more coats? Any recommendations? The funny thing is that I filled the bottle up with 3/4 ounce of Z-2/ZFX, and I used like a 1/3 of that on the first coat, 1/3 on the second coat, and 1/3 on the last coat and I STILL had some left. I could see a haze though, quite noticeably, but I'm confused because everyone says 3/4 ounce per coat!!! I used 1/3 of that! Oh well.

Today is Odyssey day! I'll only do one coat of zaino since I'm kinda tired from yesterday's 5 and 1/2 hour Zaino job!

How long did you wait to take off the Z-2? I know it says only 30 mins or so but I waited longer..maybe 1 1/2 hours and did a lighter coat. I applied left to right first and then up and down. I took much more time on my Honda and it was worth it. I'm very impressed with the Honda I did...

Here are some pictures of the NBP with different angles for MrGQ

and here is the 03 Honda with 2 Coats of Z2 and Z6. You can't really tell from the pictures but after doing Zaino on the Honda, it looks like someone put glitter all over it! Very impressed with Zaino. I swear it looks better now than when I first bought it...
Drying with Waffle Weave from Showshow and
Buffing the z2 off was done with a Dyna Concours MicroTerry from DetailingDynamics.
