Your TL is looking good, I'm in Columbus too so I'll have to keep an eye out for it this Summer. I'm curious where you get most of your work done around town?

Man as much as I tell myself that I couldn't care less about adding an aftermarket unit, every time I see a good double din install or tablet install it just makes me want to do it

Out of curiosity, are you losing the center channel speaker? I have yet to find anyone who managed to do an aftermarket head unit that kept the 5.1 functionality.

no i have no plans to keep a center channel, really dont see the point of it. its not a movie theater its a car system. I have two xd1000/5v2 five channel JL amps going in, two set of JL c3 components, two JL w6v3 10" woofers (front firing) and an audison bit one processor with everything running active. If thats not enough I'm not sure what is lol

I've usually got a pretty good ear to a quality audio setup. my daily driver (2010 buick lacrosse) I have an audison voce uno , and quattro amp running off a bit ten d processor and hertz hi energy xl comps in front with hi energy 6.5 coax in rear door and hi energy 6x9 coax in rear deck with three hertz hi energy tens front firing slot ported. needless to say its loud and very clean.....

ya man I mean we have our fair share of normal average techs but there are a few guys there that are just great at what they do. we had a guy bring a challenger in last week that thought about going to automotive appearance pros (reputable shop not talking shit) but they offered to do his full install a hair cheaper than us but couldnt do the fiberglass side well boxes that he wanted done. and we straight up told him, look we arent the cheapest place, dont claim to be, dont want to be.... but we are the best. guy came back and got an awesome install by a great tech and was thrilled. we are the go to in columbus in my opinion for sure

I remember when they were installing my Carbon Fiber dash on the C7. They asked me if I wanted to see it torn apart.....I couldn't do it.

Looking forward to seeing the finished pics of the double din install. I've been thinking about doing this if I decide to keep my TL.

couple pics of the finished product (as far as the radio goes) its a pioneer avhx4100nex with the apple carplay (which is amazing) as far as seeing the car tore apart I actually love those pics, Im used to it being that I work at a custom audio shop but I usually send my customers progress pictures to show them what all is going into their project I really think it goes a long way plus people like to post them up on forums and such. I plan to do an ipad mini where the nav screen is and gauges where the pockets below the radio are this summer sometime hopefully. cant wait

Oh wow! The double din looks great! Very nice setup.

Too bad I don't live in your neck of the woods or I'd have you install that setup on my car.

The functionality of that gauge? It tells you the pressure of each bag independently, as well as the tank.

thanks for the compliments i've always loved your setups and your car period. I like the gauge a lot I got bagriders to give it to me for free since they fucked up my order not once but twice with the airrex struts. I would imagine it would fit fine in the upper pocket but i'm going to flush it somewhere and make it look all pretty soon. specs on the wheels are 18x9 front believe offset is 25 and rear is 18x10 30 offset tires are 225/40 front and 235 rear

^Thanks for the info and compliment! Glad Bag Riders finally took care of you after their screw ups. How was the installation of the gauge? The 4 bag pressure sensors plug right into the VU4 manifold, correct?
