Base 07 Headlights transformed to Type S....(BLACKURA_NY is the man)

So I wanted Type-S headlights, but dint want to spend 800 for OEM, instead of clearing my headlights, BLACKURA_NY transformed them to Type-S....he kept asking if thats what I wanted , and I kep saying Yes.

Well here there are.... Will try to take some pics on a sunny day

I know.. You hate the amber, me in the other hand..... I think that little bit at the end gives a bit of contrast...... I am not a big fan of fully cleared headlights.....

He did a good job.

I was actually looking at first for some one with OEM Types lights who was going to clear them.... I was going to give them my base plus 250.... but couldnt find anyone so i had to go the way i went.

we never trade tail lights.... I ended up selling them to Mike.

Exactly.... The headlights have more dept now... the chrome that surrounded the projectors made the ligts look very flat....

good shit

i would just go with some plain ol' amber colored halogen bulbs... thats what came stock with the type-s, so it should be good enough. those chrome bulbs suck from what i've heard (light output)

you could do the LED route, but you know how i feel about resistors... eh...

anyways , glad you like. looks good, and you are probably the ONLY CGP rocking type-s lights

Would you happen to have bigger images?
These are so small I can barely tell what you've done!

I wanted to swap the orange turn signal plastic with the type-s and paint the chrome housing a darker chrome (along with the reflector). I wonder if anyone has the type-s headlight plastic piece from those who've cleared out their headlights.

Anyone in the So.Cal area doing headlight mods and have the parts?

Thanx guys. They look really good in person.

I have a chrome bulb that lights up amber. I changing it to an amber bulb, possibly considering LEDs.
