So one of our AZ members in Canada recently bought a 4G ASPEC edition. Apparently, these are only available in Canada. It's essentially a 4G with the lip kit, 18" wheels fron non SH models and 19" wheels for SH models, rear deck lid spoiler and an ASPEC badge. I went to the acura.ca website and saw the badge and was interested in getting my hands on one to compare it to the one we have for the 3GTL. After calling around different dealers, I finally found a set. With the help of one of our local members abrieluno, I bought it.

Hmm, i was actually thinking last week of buying the 4G badge since thee 3G badge is discontinued. I really want taht A-spec badge haha

How much was the badge anyway?

 

It was 44 CAD around 39 US. Comes two in a package.

 

O, yea i might end up just putting this in the Tls. I really like the 3G ones better though

 

I like how they use Acura font for the 4G but the italicized font on the 3G version is nice.

Tim, they come 2 to an order because on the 4G ASPEC TL's, the badges are placed on each side of the car by the front fender- not on the trunk like the 3G.

The more I look at these things, the more I think the A is a shade of dark blue. Then again, I've been told I was color blind before...

 

I had high hopes until I saw what it looks like in comparison to the 3G one. Looks like balls in my opinion, frustrating that the 3G one is discontinued and the running price is about $150 for one.

 

I actually never seen these badges on the 4G TLs yet... I'm curious how it looks with both badges on

According to the invoice PAM4545 is the part number.

Maybe try and call different dealers in Canada and get a set?

I think member Rockyfeller has the 3G one in his grill but not sure on that.

Hmmm.....interesting! It's a different take on the A-spec "logo".



And, oh no.......putting an A-spec badge on the side of the car......the horror.

 

The 3G badge is way better looking than the 4G one, and personally I think it's kinda corny to put a 4G badge on a 3G car, but that's just me. To each his own I guess.

IMO the 4G badge looks a lot better.

 

Where can you order these badges?

 

I tried 8 different dealers and Acura of Oakville was the only one with one set in stock. Mind you, there are many dealers in Canada so I would suggest to start calling. The more difficult part was getting someone like I did from AcuraZine to take time out of their day, pick it up, and then ship it here.

 

 

I see. The few dealers I got in touch with said I needed to divulge the VIN # of a true a-spec car, so I though this was the case for all dealers in Canada. I'll have to keep looking. Thank you.

I don't understand where you are coming from and jacking the price for these emblems sky high... I'm only looking for an economical means to replace the 3g a-spec emblem I had that was stolen...

 

I'm sure Acura saw where I put my Type S badge and said, "Wow, that looks fantastic. We can do that for the 4G TL's A-spec badge since we're not doing a 4G Type S."

Can you give me the text from the package. I think I found a set but I want to confirm the part number. PAM4545 doesn't seem like a normal part number. If PAM4545 is it then it will have to do.

Tried to order a pair from Atlantic Acura in Halifax....initially no problem....then denied. Apparently Acura is indeed safe guarding them.
