Rubbing is dependent on set up...how low u are, tire size etc... et35 is a safe offset on a 9.5 wheel...if u want flushness then et 22-25 rear and et 30 in the front...but that's a whole another ballgame..

well i want a balance of flush and safety. what is most important to me is not going inot negative camber to me t looks ugly as well as performs like shit.
i guess my real question is "am i safe to put 9.5 +35mm all the way around"

Not exactly what you're asking for but here's mine with 18x9 +35. No roll, no rubbing at this height with plenty of space still.

it also depends on ur camber.
if ur dropped with proper (manufacture) camber, 9.5 + 38 with 235/40/18 tires
u will require fender rolling
that's my car with manufacture alignment spec + no gap between tire/fender
with fender rolled
no rub over bump with 2 passengers

You can easily pull off 9.5 with those specs. I'm running 18x9.5 +20 and the rims just poke out a little.
