Kix, I actually have a RV-6 rear sway bar. Are you talking about a front sway bar?

Yea, the Carbon Fiber roof is always on my mind. I'll also check into a red AEM sticker.

Steven...

I saw water drops around my intake...
This morning I was on highway and 75mph and there was heavy rain...I mean really heavy
After driving like 10 minutes, weird sound came from the throotle. When I leave the pedal it's good but as I give more gas, sound becomes louder.

anyways it continued like 40 seconds, I slowed down and then sound never came back

I got home and checked the intake, that air pipe in front of it, had water drops on it, and the heat shield kind of thing that I placed under the intake had water drops on it to...

When I was coming from Maine last week, it was raining crazy again, and exactly same thing happpend..
But not opening the throotle much made it go away after 40-50 seconds later...
Never stopped the car too.... drove 200 miles to home

That heat shield was kind of wet again...

I don't know if it's my front pipes that made water go through.. you know how I connected the air pipes in front of the battary, but I don't think so...
Because how could top of the pipe become wet
It leaked from the side of the hood?

I have had experiences where the hood leaks some water into the engine bay during hard Florida rains. It's not enough to draw any concerns, but I always check after I get home to make sure everything is okay. Maybe it's just bad seals (if the hood even has seals?) because my trunk leaks, too.

Dude I have SRI there...
Sound from the engine was like twice the intake sound... but not enjoyable sound
I don't know if harmed something or not..

Bad seal might have caused it.. there is only that plastic cover on the edge
http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7227/7...74a2894e_b.jpg

I'll either get those window seal things from home depot and stick it there or cover top of the intake with something flat..
I'll create something but I don't know what that noise was
god damnit

Thanks Shadow! I really don't do anything special for the engine bay. I just try to keep it clean all the time.

BF, I've got a small gap on each side of the front lip too.

Meko, maybe something like this will work: http://shop.autoanything.com/air-fil...A2582A0A0.aspx (link doesn't work so just Google Injen Hydro Shield)
They are designed so water doesn't get through the filter into the engine.

CALM DOWN MEKO LOL....

that injen thing is a waste....if you plan on putting that on the air filter, i would suggest you revert back to stock....

Meko, the noise you hear is from the filter trying to suck air into the engine....i have a 4" SRI and damn i love that sound....if you are worried about tiny droplets hydrolocking your engine, you can sprinkle water on the intake and nothing will happen....smart thinking on your part was that you didnt open the throttle completely or hit vtec or some....

but you are fine !!!
