Sunday Update!
Guys-swoosh and I finished up my car today. We spent only 3 hours fixing the LED in the driver's side headlight. We also installed an AEM Short Ram Cold Air Intake! Here are the photos....

Finished product-notice the rear Brembo covers. They "finish" the look, in my opinion.

Plus, Anil and I took a glamour shot of our cars together. The picture is significant. Not because of the cars, but because of the place we took the pictures. Behind the TL's is the land swoosh and his wife just purchased to build their very first house! Congrats buddy.

^^^ Thanks guys-I'm really happy with the car, as it sits now.
The only other thing I will probably do is a UR Pulley-at some time.....

Is that AEM's pipe? I never saw one like that.
3" dia?
and last question, did the filter sit right in front of the air pipe?
Hoooot pictures

I think that's AEM's pipe, MEKO. Yes, the filter sat right in front of the pipe-it's a tight fit, but all seems to be going well with it.
I bought this off of Amazon for $78, so the price was definitely right!
And like I've always said, a CAI is growl, so it has a little of that. I really got it so it would be easier to get to the driver's side headlight.

^^^That's actually an excellent price for a short ram! Nicely done, Steven.
And technically, you could probably put in some sort of baffle to keep the hot engine air from getting to it too.

Thanks Jeremy. Anil and I will talk about your suggestion!
Glad I could help, buddy! Yes, I'll help Anil. God knows he's helped me so much. It's the least I could do....
Thanks KJ-I agree!

It's 2.75" also, just like my custom SRI + the design
so I think I did a good job on it but if I knew this I would've not waste my time with custom.
So cheap
How about front of the battart Steven?
You won't get enough air unless you connect the two pipes. Tested that

^^^ MEKO if you order that kit made sure you have an extra 67-83 SS band...the kit comes with only 2 bands for the coupler but doesnt have a band for the air filter....you can reuse one of the stock bands if you want....
also have another tiny band for the PCV tube
also have another tiny band for the PCV tube
But I will keep mine.. I think
K&N pipe also has a bolt place to get it attached...

^^^ hahah nice....yeah this kit didnt come with a screw/bolt either...
i think they should charge another 2-3 bucks but include all of this with the kit....the pipe diameter looked a little small but i have a 4" intake so i thought maybe thats why LOL

Agree about the engine bay - lets get some full shots of it! For the most part I haven't been a fan of the painted covers that I've seen, but from the partial shot of yours, it's looking pretty awesome!

thats why I asked him to post new ones....the intake filter material is kinda red in color and the coupler is red too which IMO adds to the look of the bay
