After 8-1/2 years, I actually have a mod update for the Type S!

Glad I could help! You're going to love it and wonder why you waited so long!
And that makes me happy I ordered it when I did. After the Type-S front went discontinued, I was nervous the rest would too, and I knew if I had to pay more to get it painted as well, I'd probably never actually get it.
Enjoy!

Matt, that is correct! Base TL front lip, Type S side skirts and Type S rear lip.
I don't know if you guys know this, but the Aspec Kit side shirts are both Base TL and Type S. There is no difference between the 2 types.

A big thanks to SilverSVT. I went over to his house to install the Akata Spacers today. He has the proper tools for the job.
Without Spacers...
With Spacers (15mm on the front and 20mm on the back). I'm still amazed at how the little things make a big difference in the looks of this car.
NOW...I'm really done! Eric and I actually contemplated a Carbon Fiber roof and roof spoiler job......damn it.

What color calipers do you think would look best on my WDP Type-S ???

I told Mrs. Bell about the new purchases-she doesn't care. She knows this is my passion!
She's a terrific woman!
But seriously-this has got to stop.....

UPDATE:
I had a scare today. I ordered the Base TL Aspec nose and side skirts from Tim at OEM Acura Parts last Friday. I found the last rear skirt in the country at DelRay Acura.
I had not heard from Tim with a tracking number yet, so today, so I decided to call him for it. As it turns out, he tried to e-mail me Friday afternoon to let me know that Acura has stopped making the front nose too....I did not get his e-mail on Friday!
He found 2 front Aspec noses left in the country for me. I called the first Acura dealership-they still had the nose in stock and I scooped it up immediately.
So now, all 3 Aspec Kit pieces are coming in from 3 separate dealerships. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that they all make it to my house!

Dang, I need to order an A-Spec ASAP.
Good luck, I hope you'll get them!
And do you mean the last 3 in the nation in general or last 3 of ASM?

Thanks guys! Sammy-honestly, I don't know why I waited.....
UPDATE: The Aspec Kit is here. It came from 3 different dealers, but it has arrived. I've got to go out of town for work on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. So we might not get to do the kit until the weekend.
Also ordered-the switchback sidemarkers and Brembo covers for the rear brakes (yes, I'm going to give them a try.....so NO COMMENTS !!!!). The Brembo covers came in today. We will put all them on all at one time.
Plus, one of the LED strips in the headlights needs to be replaced because part of the strip has burned out. The new LED strip is ordered and will come in sometime this week too.

You said no comments but will you take positive? I like the covers if you have Brembos up front. It matches and makes the rear wheels more appealing.

Car is really coming together. Looking good. More pics please.....
And if you are doing switchbacks and are gonna do the relay mod just order the led tails and do the .24 ohm resistor right away for front and rear at the same time.

Thanks Morgan! I really appreciate you making the long hop to Kansas City. I enjoyed hanging out with you.
UD, I agree. I know they're ricey, but I sat my car next to a white Porsche with red Brembo's on all 4 corners. It looked so nice. I really feel like my Type S has taken a step up by painting all the calipers. But now, they'll all match. We'll see how they look!
Thanks Matt-I appreciate it. I'll buy pizza and beer again.
Yea, we might need to wait until next week some time. Maybe a weeknight-get started early and knock it out....
This weekend, I think the guys talked me into the UR Pulley. That might be the next mod....and hopefully the last!

Steve with the caliper covers, just remember you are putting them on your caliper using GLUE !!! so glue is holding the covers to the caliper....its not MADE TO FIT for a car....they can pop off and spin in your wheel and spit out from behind your car any moment !!!

You need a photo shoot soon! I'm contemplating spacers for when I get the springs installed and want to see some more views of your car with them, especially after you get the lip kit put on.
Are you happy with the 15 and 20 or would you get different sizes if you could do it again? I'm debating what sizes to keep an eye out for in the black market. Think 10mm and 15mm would look ok, or would you say your size is better for the type s stockies?

Anil, we can also use wireties. Check out the threads here!

KJ, I'm VERY happy with the spacers. I do this stuff to the Type S and I'm kicking myself for not doing them earlier. Don't make my mistake!
Go for the 15's and 20's-the 10's and 15's won't give you enough change/difference.
Buddy, they turned out better than I thought they would.
Thanks LP-I'll get some more/better pictures when we install all the new stuff.

Update-Sunday, June 24th.
Well, it's been a long week and a half.
First, a HUGE thanks to swoosh, McCollins and Shoeface for all their hard work, time and dedication.
We installed the Aspec Kit (thanks to McCollins and Shoeface). The Base TL front lip was masterfully trimmed up by both guys and installed last week.
Anil and I worked on the front headlight....one of the LED strips had a short in it. So I ordered a new LED strip, only to find that it arrived broken! We tried to set it so it would work inside the headlight, but to no avail. So I called Oznium.com. They shipped me TWO LED strips (one as a backup) to replace the broken one. So that will go on next weekend.
Today, we installed the rest of the Aspec Kit (side skirts and rear lip). Plus, we installed the switchback sidemarkers and the rear Brembo brake covers. They are drying/setting as we speak. So everything is done-Anil and I will install the LED strip when the short ram comes in.
Oh......I forgot to tell you. I got sick and tired of fighting the OEM airbox. I finally said, "screw it" and ordered a short ram CAI. This will help eliminate my concern about the traditional long tube Cold Air Intake.
I'm not driving the Type S now, in order to let the rear Brembo covers set up and hopefully bond to the calipers. So pictures are coming tomorrow. It was only 100 degrees in Kansas City today. Luckily, I have an air conditioned garage, so we all stayed cool. But it really looks good!
Again a HUGE thanks to swoosh, David and Matt. I couldn't have done it without these guys' help.
