I started this thread 8-1/2 years ago. I updated it 5 years ago. I actually have a new update !!!!
I should have done this a LONG time ago. I bought a flat bottom steering wheel for the Type S from Bruce at Endless RPM! The Type S is now 13 years old with 141.000 miles on it.

Damn, that is one sexy thicc wheel! I'm gonna have to get one of those here pretty soon...now that wife and I have decided the TL-S is going to be kept for the long-term time to invest into the car to make it look and drive nicer.
But yes....J's former KBP TL-S currently lives in KC...basically a year now. I'm getting the body fixed up (repaint, correction, PPF, etc.) over at Tanner's customs and then work on getting the front seat leathers improved and that steering wheel certainly looks damn nice!
Sad to see another TL-S go....wonder what the dealer is going to do with your old car Steve...
@nist7 now that I'm back in another 3G I realize just how foolish it was for me to sell that one.
but really, I am pretty happy recreating what I consider the original iteration of it.

When you're done getting everything fixed, let's meet up! I was at the dealership Friday-they replaced the motor mounts on my Type S and sold it to a guy that day. He said he'd been looking for that exact cars. He got a beauty-so many mods, I'm sure the dealership coundn't point them all out...
