Acura emblem background filled in?
Instead of going by a shitty photoshop, does anyone have this done? I've grown tired of my grille again and I'm thinking instead of painting the emblem, I'm going to paint the background behind it silver. This way I can keep the emblem black and it'll show the outline. So if anyone that has done it with any colour, please post!

I dont think that would look good IMO. Atleast it doesnt look good in that photoshop pic. I always thought thats when people start doing cheesy things when they get bored and end up degrading the cars looks.

Yea, don't think this will look good. USR makes a carbon fiber background for it that doesn't look too bad, but IMO you couldn't leave the emblem black.

Yeah I meant to mention the USR inserts, but I'm not really feeling those. I've already done so many styles before so there's no harm in trying this out, just wanted to see if anyone already had it done. And hey if it looks bad, it won't take long to switch back haha

You could leave the caliper chrome. Might look nice against the black grill.

I originally did that when I dipped the grille, but didn't really like it. Although it might look a lot better now since I blacked out and cleared the lights.

So I was bored today and decided to take off my bumper. Had some new fog lights to put in and decided to try out the silver background behind the emblem while it was off.

Thoughts? Lol

IMO I prefer the way you had it before with the A unpainted because it makes it stand out more, and black back

Yeah I was feeling that too, painted it silver instead of leaving it chrome since I hate chrome haha
