Thanks. The rears are 20% and the fronts are 50%. In BC Canada it's illegal to have ANY front tint at all. We can get away with 50% because it's not that noticeable. It does significantly cut down UV and heat in the inside, however. Otherwise I would have put 20% all around.

Hey Jon, that is absolute siickness (in a good way of course)! The rear looks %5000 percent better in my opinion. I always thought the red tail-lights were just too "red" for our body color (although the red serves a purpose) and just drew too much attention from the sleek lines of the back and rear quarter views. I am definitely doing this mod for tails and front/back side markers. The front covers look good as well, but I'm not sure yet what I plan to do (either tints, clear, blue like yours, or heck maybe even yellow). Thanks for posting the pics and have to say again that the car looks so much better with such little modification! Go ABP!

Hell man, sometimes even I wish I had the cash for all these mods LOL! Yeah, I'm setting it right with this one since believe it or not, it's actually my first true purchased vehicle in my 31 years. I could only dream of having a 35K+ car at 19.

In highschool, I got stuck driving around the family mini-van......a weird lookin toyota that actually had 4WD and a cooler built inside. Good times though in that van After that, I inherited the 13 year old black 300D Mercedes for college. Talkin' about SLOW, but the car had character and I made sure it was very well kept. Parents still have it and it's like 25 years old already but still looks damn good. Those old benzos are rock solid.

After a year drivin around in the MB, I inherited my parents 4 year old Accord EX. It was a pretty nice ride and had every option. I babied that thing and had it from 93' till 99'. After that, I worked as a field sales engineer so had a company car provided and as a result, gave the accord back to my parents. Ford Taurus (pos), then Pontiac Grand Prix GT (not a bad car at all), then a new 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP (in dark blue of course - good car - horrible suspension). I then switched companies and decided to take their monthly car allowance instead, which finally brought me to this beauty. Can't complain since they paid for basically 2 years payments on the car. So now, this is it at least for 5-6 more years. Sorry for ramblin, but it could be worse. You could always end up driving my old 90' Yo-Van.
If you can bust game in this, you can get your pimp on in any car....

Hey Velfarre, yeah if you're not going the coilover route, then the konis are perfect. I actually may change my springs out to either Gold-Line (like GoBig), H&R, or Eibach though. I do however like the present setup, but yes the Tein Springs can be stiff at times. I would like to look further into a progressive type of spring versus the linear springs offered from Tein. Settings are at .50 turns and the rears set at 1.5 turns like GoBig had recommended. Handling is nite-n-day now and plus you get the lifetime warranty on the Koni's. Maybe a better option to get the Eibach Pro-Kit. Shocks are just re-labeled Koni's but I assume you'll get the million mile warranty on the complete package and $515 is pretty good. Only thing is limited spring perch adjustment on this kit or the standard Koni Yellows/Sports. If you change out your springs, I'd like to hear your thoughts on how she rides. For me, right now, this setup is fine.

Hey Adobe, nice choice in color(s). Seems like only a few of us that opted for the richer (as in color, not $$ or status) camel interior. Yeah, it may get dirtier faster but it looks DAMN good. IMO probably better for resale since the camel/black look provides more of a luxury feel to the cabin, once again IMO.

Hey thanks Special-Ed (love your handle, BTW).

Yeah, I never liked the bright redness of the lights before either. I thought it looked a bit cheap. Now it looks so much richer but not too blacked out and gangster-ish.

I'm glad I went with the blue tint on the headlights versus smoked. I think smoking them completely makes the car not look quite right, especially with the metallic grill. What I would really like to do is what Lokius did to his lights with the internal smoking of the amber part. THAT looks HOT IMO.

Maybe when my lease is up I'll do some more "invasive" mods like that. For now I'll stick to mods that are easily reversible.

$hit, Jon, I was waiting to see pics of an ABP with the Rockblocker kit...that's absolutely awesome!! The blue head lights look perfect! Do they tint your lights much, or are they pretty much still white?

I have to say, the more I see ABP, the more I like it...it's definitely a great color, and it looks good on the TL. One reason (well, main reason) I didn't get ABP was the way the tail lights looks juxtaposed against the blue...too sharp a contrast. That definitely eliminates that.

Hey chill_dog. Thanks, bud.

The blue tint does actually shine white at night and is hardly noticeable at night which is how yu would want it. That's another reason why I didn't go with the smoked headlight tint as I thought it might diminish the light output somewhat and produce a more yellowy halogen look.

Here's a bad picture of the daytime running light on shining through the blue tint.....

Special-Ed - I was unsure of the Camel; therefore I went with the Ebony for the obvious reasons. IMO Camel looks on an ABP (other dark colors as well); when you get a chance post some daylight pictures.

The headlight tint is EXTREMELY easy to apply. It's the easiest of all the tint products that I applied because the headlight surface has very little convexity to it.

The easiest way is a wet install using soapy water or a 50:50 water/alcohol mix. I used soapy water and it was fine. Use a hair dryer to help smooth out the tint especially on corners.

Jon_M, that's one HOT ABP you got there. All the mods are incredibly clean and tasteful. ABP was my 2nd choice for color when I ordered my WDP.

Thanks dsc888.

The one main problem with the ABP is dust. I have to dust the car at least every other day. Also, even just a sprinkle of rain and it needs a wash to get rid of the spots. But when it's clean and waxed, you can't beat it.

I saw a gorgeous WDP TL with the A-Spec kit a while back so you can't go wrong there either. If you haven't seen it yet, check out Lokius' WDP TL in this forum. It is AWESOME!!

Me too... ABP with ebony looks awesome, especially with the blue LED interior lighting.

I also custom installed blue LED lighting in the footwells which is switched to the ignition. Very easy to do and cost about $30 Canadian in parts.

no spacers on mine right now but would need them when I was planning to get the wilwood bbk but those fawkers at Precision (where mugen got his set from) are a major pain in the ass.

Looking at stoptech or rotora right now in which case I'll definitely need the spacers up front or get a different set of rims that will clear.

I'm waiting first to see what aftermarket mods will be released once the 3rd gen hits japanese soil. Want to see if this car is worth modding for the long term.

btw, your whip is looking absolutely siiiick!

somebody tried doing a photoshop with these rims on lokius' WDP. With regards to the photoshop, good photoshopping job but the picture they used for the deuces is waaaaay too brite, almost a whitish finish which is far from what these rims look like in person.

I'll take a couple of daytime pics real quick and have them posted later today.
