So I finally decided to buy some springs for my car. Now that I got a good stable job as a host at upscale restaurant here, after one pay check I decided to buy the H&R race springs. I have to say my car actually turns heads now. I'm one of the few with modded tls in this area. I love the look, and stance of the springs. Its perfect, I want to put more "effort" into my car now.
Here's a few pics that I took outside with my crappy point and shoot.
It's just a bunch of random pics since I dropped it. Which was about 3days ago.
I Promise I'll get better picks up as soon as possible.

I will admit that even a slight drop is enough to make one feel like they accomplished the impossible, especially when funds are tight. Looks good.

I've got more to come in the near future, possibly by summer time. Plus by summer time I'll be working as a cook in the back making easily 11-12 dollars an hour starting off.

If you dont mind me asking, how much did those run you, and where did you get them?
And hows the ride quality now vs. before?
Is there any rubbing?
That drop looks awesome. I may get a set if you like them.

Ditto bro. Facts please. I'm highly considering these over coil-overs or a new A-spec suspension. Funds are gonna' be tight for a long time, at least until I find a steady job and make my insurance payment.

As of now I'm on stock shocks, I have to pay for a few things before i get some aftermarket ones, I'm thinking of getting either tokico hp, or koni yellows.
These springs cost me about $250 with shipping included in the price, very inexpensive. Installation was free, a friend and I did it.
The handling is noticably better even with stock shocks. Im afraid to push it around corners, because my tires are like bald(getting new ones next week).
I definatly reccomend these, they give a perfect drop, and the best no rubbing. Unless I go over a bump, im just careful around those.

Nice drop.
Since you installed the springs yourself, did you get the car aligned? If not then I advise that you do that or your suspension will be off in the long run and won't ever be the same as it is once was.
Also you cannot go wrong with the shocks that you are looking into getting.

On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate the quality/fit/finish/value/performance of this product?

Dude, definitely come back and report how it is in the handling department once you get the new tires as well. I've been getting into canyon runs lately and improved handling just from springs would be awesome.

I expect the rating to be anywhere near an 8.5-10.

Im actually running the same suspension set up as you! lol, H&R Race Springs with stock shocks and stock wheels. I recommend it to others, I wanna get coilovers though, in the next month a half
Look for my suspension in the black market, I'll be selling springs already mounted in the shocks ::

South Florida does have plenty of tls but in palm beach county its a rare find, well from my experience. But I guess thats the beauty of it.
Ill see what i can do for you if im still a host, hook you up with a nice table haha

If you can't afford the coilovers I HIGHLY reccomend getting the H&R race spring with aftermarket shocks.

As of now, I rate it to be a 9. I live in an equestrian neighborhood in the outskirts of my town, and there are plenty of long windy roads. I've noticed the difference immediatly. I cant wait to get new tires I'll push it more and probably come out with a rating of 10/10. I'll give a full review on these once I get them.
It's amazing how one small mod can make you feel like you have a complete new car. Can't wait till I get the A-spec kit.

Alright guys I got me some new tires. I pushed my car, and i love it.
I DEFINATLY and HIGHLY recommend these springs. I cant wait to see how the handling will be when I get the shocks.
Will put up some new pics as soon as I get on my laptop(using my phone now)

Jeebus mang! Do you rub at all? And do you scrape on every surface known to man?! lol. I think I want the sport springs bro, I always have at least one other person in my car and I can't afford to damage my underbody.

I have no rubbing at all, and if you're careful about what you drive through you should be fine. I usually have more than one person with me too, including a memphis mojo 15" sub with box. Florida is pretty flat so i dont have to worry to much

In the meantime I'm thinking of lightly smoking the rear lights, and smoking the amber corner lights and side markers

Drop look great man. I have the same springs paired with Tokico HP struts. I have about 15k/mi on mine right now and I fucking love them. Just wait till they settle, they'll be about a 1/4" lower. My front bumper is all chewed to shit underneath from scraping, and I don't even have an ASPEC kit. Comes with the territory though.....
