3G TL on H-techs.. if you were wondering.

Here's my 2005 TL on tein H-techs.. i got these from a friend for cheap and installed them myself. the stock shocks have been holding up well so far, and the camber is slightly out of OEM specs. on to the pics.

Looks good man! What's the approximate drop?

And how much is your camber out of spec?

I think the H-Techs are rated for 1.5-2". They are also softer than the S-Techs for a more luxury ride. I was going to get them, but I heard that springs will chew up the stock shocks requiring replacement of them down the road. By that time, you would have spent almost as much as coilovers would have cost in the first place!
OP, keep us posted on the shocks, please.
BTW, nice car and it looks great with the drop. AM Rules!

Thanks for sharing. I'm surprised your Htechs brought u down so low. Other pics I've seen of other's rides on Htechs, show a finger, or maybe almost 2, gap.

I wonder if the your springs, being used, are already broken in, and are providing more than the 0.6/0.7 inches that Tein says they drop the car. Your drop looks like a 2 inch drop right now.

CLtotheTL32, thanks. I didnt measure the fender height, but i read a thread before where someone measured 1 inch all the way around.

Blazing, depends on how much of my paychecks i spend. its 5A/T unfortunately, so if any mods, it will probably just be an A spec lip and 19 inch linea corse rims.

hopefully my shocks will last. my friend that i bought them off of had them on his TL with 20's for about 2 years, and he said that after he put his stock spring back on the shocks were fine.

thanks for all the comments!
pagnasTL... huh?!

It's amazing how a drop like that makes such a big difference.
