25mm long.......CBP Type-S

Hi guys,

Took pictures with my friend the other day. Car is obviously a cbp type-s, with aspec kit, intake and 25mm spacers. A few people said it wouldn't look good but honestly they look perfectly flush in my opinion. I like em

Anyways, Enjoy!

Drop?

Can you even take a curve at a good speed??....i would imagine any body roll would cause rubbing.

Looks good!

Thanks guys

I'm dropped on tien coilovers. About a finger or little less in the rear and 1/2 finger in the front. I didn't roll my fenders and I don't have any problems turning surprisingly. I rub only occasionally with 5 people in the car and that's only over large dips

Perfect stance JSHETH. Beautiful pictures too. I'll need tires soon and was considering wider tires (to fill out the wheel well) on the OEM wheels.

Nicely done. Really makes the stock wheels look aggressive.

Damn I love CBP and this thread does nothing but back that up.

I've been thinking about 15mm spacers for my A-Specs but I may have to bump it up to 20 or 25 after seeing those pictures.

Thanks guys,

you should check the offset on the a-spec wheels because if they're anywhere close to the offset on the stock tl-s wheels then i'd recommend giong for 20-25. Honestly 15 isn't much of a difference..all depends how aggressive you want them to look

Wow...
CBP and KBP are my personal fav's...almost took the plunge on a 6speed type s a few months ago...but decided 15K more on the same car wasn't smart. But DAMN...that is sexy!

The spacers...wow...looks great. I've considered it but I think my new wheels would rub. They're close as it is.

sorry no pics of the flushness =/ but it literally sits flush right with the fender, i can't imagine going with a lower size spacer on these wheels!

3rd and 4th pic is def my favorite. since im on stock suspension i should be more than okay then i assume. would it be wierd (or even consequential) if i only put spacers in the rear?

OP: what did you do to your pics and what did you shoot with? they look amazing! did you desaturate the background or something? it flows really well with the color of your car! also did you add vignetting or is it all natural from the lens?

Sorry to clarify, tien basics. These are actually my friends pics but he's shooting with a rebel xt and tamron 17-50 f/2.8. I'm not sure what he did as far as post processing but im guessing he used a gradient and messed around with the brightness/saturation.

It would be weird because the rears would poke alot more then the fronts. If you're still on stock suspension though then you're going to end up looking like an SUV with spacers on haha

How wide are the spacers in front?

Just out of curiosity, are spacers this large healthy for the car?

I don't see why they would be any different then a 5 or 10mm spacer

larger spacers put more stress on the hub because of the wider stance. this is why people usually opt for wider wheels. that being said I don't think it is unhealthy for the car as long as u don't drive it to the limit all the time. 25mm is quite a bit but I've seen guys running larger spacers. just my .02

as long as everything is torqued properly, you shouldnt have any issues. i ran a 25mm spacer for about a year on my fronts with no problems
