2007 WDP TL-Type S

Hello,

I've been signed up for months now but never got the time to post about my 3rd Gen. 2007 White Diamond Pearl Acura TL Type-S. Bought it in the beg of the year. When I got it, it had a little over 75,000 miles on it. Today it sits around 76,300 miles. Contemplating where I should start first on this car like an exhaust system, J37, etc. Up to hear some suggestions though. Thanks!

Hahaha No Way! Extremely comfortable and I think it looks good but thank you for the complement.

I have to agree, those seat covers look horrible. As for going to a J37, skip it, that engine has a very checkered history of very high oil consumption.

Im sure the seat covers are due to the very common tearing of the leather. I decided to have my driver seat repaired for $200, that being said they don't look too bad. I wanted to find a white type-S manual but had to settle with silver. Looks great sir

For as little miles I would hope the leather isn't ripped, but then again the dash is cracked. Seems to be another mis-cared for Type-S by the previous owner. What did you pay for it? Seat covers must go tho!

Dunno if I would say its a mis-cared for TL. Interior looks to be pretty mint, judging from the radio trims...
and I think what your referring to is actually the airbag cut-out (possibly)

The airbag is suppose to be smooth. That looks like a split to me, but could be the angle. What condition are the seats in under the covers? Steering wheel condition under the cover?

Yea I know what your saying, it's just that I've seen the outline more pronounced in some TL's than others.....maybe an indication of cracks beginning to form....

OP please remove covers

Wow!

Love your WDP Type S! I would recommend to start with a catback exhaust, cold air intake, and j pipe. That is the plan for mine I have a '08 ASM with 50k miles ))

I think the more defined airbag outline is an early sign of cracks about to emerge.

Most dashes crack. It’s just a matter of time.

Congrats OP! Looks pretty clean!

Sweet looking WDP TL-S. I had the 2008 WDP TL-S at one time. Now have the 2008 CBP TL-S. Congrats and welcome to AZ!
