Talking 2007 TL Type-S - Kinetic Blue Pearl - A-Spec Aero Kit

Here's my new car:

2007 TL Type-S 5-Speed A/T
Kinetic Blue Pearl
Ebony/Silver Leather
A-Spec Aero Kit
22% Tint - All The Way Around
50% Tint - Windshield

I do alot of city driving and don't plan on drag racing, A/T is perfect for me.

Yes, I can't remember exactly how much; between $1,500 - $2,000 installed.

I also got the following:

Carbon Fiber Style Front Console Trim
Carbon Fiber Style Rear Console Trim
Carbon Fiber Style Steering Wheel

Total: Vehicle, Extras, Tax & Licensing $45k

Looks like you were trying to spell "NBP" and ran out of room on the lic plates! Hahahaha...Question: Is it me, or does the Type-S aero kit give the front an "added on look" due to it's bulkiness? Doesn't quite blend as smooth as the 04-06 A-spec. I ain't feelin' it, but love the rest of the ride!

Enjoy!!

Darksom is right about the added on look of the Type S front, but I love the way it looks! Love the Color, the kit, the quads, the car. Good stuff and awesome decision with the car

TOO BAD the BEST CAR doesn't have the best LOOKING front A-Spec lip. I don't know what Acura was thinking here. The standard 07 stripped TL has a better looking A-Spec optional front lip, looks alot like the 06 A-Spec front lip.

BUT I would never trade my 07 TL-S for a stripped standard TL because it has a better LOOKING front (only) A-Spec lip.

Maybe something new will come out, but until then, the 07 TL-S RULES THE STREETS.

Awesome car !!! I love the Blue, very nice.

Of course it's illegal! I have an auto immune disorder that destroys the lining on the outside of my eyes therefore sensitive to UV rays. I have a medial note, cops don't care once they see that.

The film I installed is a 1 way mirror type setup, it's darker on the outside for the light coming in, but on the inside it's very light, you can see through alot better (especially at night).

22% from the inside looks like 50% and 50% looks like %80

New Rims

19" Niche GT
Falken FK-452 Tires
1" Wheel Spacers

I know alot of people aren't into chrome, but to each his own. I thought I'd add some flavor to it and have the lip painted Kinetic Blue Pearl to match the car.

Believe it or not I actually like the idea of the color matched lip on the wheels... But I must say that the spacer and the wheel design are horrendous!

To do color match, it was $200 per rim, but I had to fix some of them too, so i'm not sure if it would be cheaper. I had these rims on my tsx, they were lying around, figured i'd use them. What's wrong with 1" spacers...alot of users on here have that. I had to use 1" spacers with these rims to clear the brakes.

Come on guys, you know i'm joking! I have nothing but love for this forum! But you see the point i'm trying to make.

Saying something isn't your cup of tea is cool, but you don't need to go above and beyond that...

If that's true, then I have to say those wheels might have been something I was into in the 5th grade. Or not.
