great work, I bought and installed the plate light and here is some pic compare to between your ebay seller vs my LED bulb.

L.E.D bulbs

Your recommended Ebay seller, I have to say the unit finish is nice but it a hassle trying to plug the connector to.

LED and the one from ebay is about the same brightness but what difference is the price (of course the Ebay one is half price of the bulb), on the white TL I used clearance bulb that meant for the interior lightning.

Hi Guys, soo more bright ! more LEDs since I am using TL as work car everyday and working everyday with different customers in different places I need to carry tools in trunk, I have tl only for 2months now but this week light in trunk made my angry evry time I was looking for something in the dark especialy right now when day is still shorter than in summer. So i bought 2led lights ( accidentaly in walmart went there to buy some detailing waxes etc ) and installed it ... on my lunch on home depot parking lot one is done second one will be on other side. For now it is look like that :

Spring is here, so I did gift my self finally got what i wanted to have , will make my DIY's easier, with my luck to break, twist damage bolts etc now I will be good to go its still not snap on but...

Easter gift for her

That little 194 bulb isn't cutting the mustard anymore huh? lol

I like seeing stuff used for utility, interesting mod, does it shut off when you close the trunk?

thanks

not at all !, previous owner already installed led bulb in it but light is funny weak.
yes it works together with original trunk light. I wired new light under covers which took maybe 2-3minutes ( I have all tools in trunk ) and spliced together with original trunk light wires and thats it !, all You need to do is drill small whole for screw which hold the light but it can be done by anybody. Really it took me max 20minutes, i will shot some photos at evening to see results. Even if this is walmart light it gives strong light at day , in night should be even better.

I am curious about this tho, I was leaning toward Milwaukee after I bought my Dewalt set. Any feedback why you prefer Dewalt over Milwaukee? thanks.

Those night shots look great, very effective!

I have Dewalt tools, but I have noticed the batteries & chargers like to crap out in colder temperatures, so when winter rolls around everything is stored inside.

I was happy from milwaukee too, but Dewalt had great sale on december: hammer drill, impact wrench, sawzall, grinder 2x 5ah battery, 1x 6ah flex volt battery + charger costs me 500$ at homedepot..
Nothing wrong with milwaukee, impact wrench was little bit weaker thats it. Dewalt gives me that feeling these tools are tough , milwaukee not ( while i know milwaukee is good to - my father is milwaukee fan )
Dewalt looks heavy strong and built to last.

and one more reason.

problems with battery dying on low temp is common to all brands ( like with car battery ) nothing You can do about it, carrying them everyday to home is pretty too much if They die then homedepot will be my next direction

Decided to install second light next week, I prepared wiring for second one but didnt have time to mount the spot light

hehehe I was on same sale cant say anything bad for dewalt battery tools Im using drills impact wrenches, sawzall, grinder even hot glue gun and that family growing since I am planing to buy more

hand tools from dewalt is different story since lot of them are china. I had set of screwdrivers and in first day one of flat drivers fallen apart, they were made of cheap materials, also bits from dewalt are worst from milwaukee or even ryobi.

i have one of those 6ah 60v max batteries and to be honest it is good battery when You are do framing etc where lot of power is a must, but for regular jobs like electric, plumbing it is too heavy i think.
Most of the time I am using smallest batteries ( 2ah) which lasts pretty long and are very light which is important when You working on ladder etc.

after spending around 4-5k in parts it would be stupid to sell it for 3k.. So i decided this car will stay with me as long as i will be able repair it my self. Planing to buy new car after winter but still acura will stay with me. Maybe car is old but still good. I was driving not long time ago new wrangler , new chevy silverado with some fancy package z71 or z something lika that and that cars were worst at every point than my old acura. Talking about quality materials and feauters , cant belive how shitty cars they producing right now. Leather on steering wheel after 14k miles looked worst than mine after 160k. Plastics everything like in cars 20y ago. Acura is way way ahead than any american crap right now.
