Well after having the car for a week I had to do something. I added the TL-S rear side markers which I think made a very nice subtle difference and then I had the windows tinted 15% all around. What do you guys think? Sorry photobucket really reduces the quality.

Not to bad really. My previous car I had 5% tint all the way around so after being used to that this really is pretty good.

At first I really didn't like the rims at all but they are kinda growing on me. Hopefully sooner than later I can buy new rims.

Really like the tints, dark enough to give the car a nice look, yet appear light enough so you can still see out the back at night (I have 5% and it sucks)

It is a beauty! Love the color! Those rims are a lot nicer than the TypeS rims for sure.

I despise the TL-S rims.

OP, your car looks great. If you're so inclined, you might consider removing the mud flaps. Not sure if you're into that, but I thought I'd suggest it. I wish I would have removed mine sooner than I did because they ended up leaving fairly noticeable abrasions. So, if it's something you're considering, do it soon before it gets to that point.

Agreed,

The Type-S rims are HIDEOUS, and base ones aren't perfect by any means but way better than the TYPE-S....

Can't figure out why Acura didn't make the A-Spec tims OEM on Type-S cars....

They are probably the ugliest rims on a $38,000 or more car i have ever seen....

Both 07 TL base and 07 TLS rims are not better than the 04-06 TL rims. Like someone said earlier, why did they put such ugly rims on TLs?

Nice car, but get rid of the mud flaps.

Yeah you know I never thought about the mud flaps but you guys are totally right they need to go! Hopefully it is just a few bolts. Does anyone know?

It is just a few bolts. Technically, I believe they are screws (going off memory), but either way, it's so easy you don't need any instructions on removal -- or re-installation for that matter. All you need to do is unscrew the screws/bolts, take the flaps off, then screw the screws/bolts back in. Case closed. The only tricky part is getting your hand and screwdriver/wrench into the tight areas. You'll figure it out, though.

Very nice man.

Leave the mudflaps. I sort of miss mine (had to be removed for A-Spec body kit). They do help protect the sides from wheel debris. The sides of my car definitely gets dirty quicker than before, especially with the recent drizzle that make the roads wet. For you, they match your car well and they're not very noticeable.

Anyway, if you want, I can help you remove them. We have a local meet this Friday. Click here for details.
